Hi All

This is Sara, Chris's (CD) partner. I just wanted to thank everyone for a great day and making me feel so welcome. Also the cars were beautiful and i loved watching you all having fun. Made me feel quite jealous that i wasnt driving! That route was awesome, and im really considering taking the 924 on it

Again it was lovely to meet you all and hopefully will see you again on the next one.

I didn't know I had one, Will- is it supposed to work a little like your 'stamp collecting club'- your tongue must be getting quite sore now, no?

It was a pleasure to meet you & Chris, Sara.

BTW- don't listen to a thing he might tell you about Will, even though it's probably true.

Hi Sara! Nice of you to come on and it was nice to meet you. Glad you enjoyed the meet and it was good wasn't it.

You'll have to take your 924 along those roads, be good fun.

Keep Chris away from going to that gym too often eh.

If you do then I will owe you one, a good one, of something

To re-iterate, I had a lot of fun. Shame I missed out on the longer part of the run, but glad we came back for the curry.

The house valuation came in very positively, Jims funeral is on Friday so I am going to have a few for him and make a day of it, thanks for being so kind on the day and afterwards Helen.

I think the route is so good I am going to make it one of my regular runs - its a little further out than normal, but its undoubtedly quality.

I'm pretty sure he's a neighbour of my parents-in-law, so I'll see what I can do Matt.

All the best.

I then went past, followed by Paul (-Paul-) and we had a great time catching them up.....and found what felt like both the upper and lower limits of my suspension every 100 metres
You can play the trip back in Google Earth which I didn't realise till today. When's the next meet?

So glad everyone enjoyed themselves so much! Makes it all worthwhile

Strangely enough I started thinking about NM3 today! Thought we could maybe do something in July?! similar format to NM2, but different route etc.

Checked the York Raceway out as suggested for those who want to do this, but a lot of the RWYB days coincide with their organised events. However, there's nothing to say we can't do a Saturday drive and meal again and those that want to drag could look into a Sunday event. Just ideas at the moment.

Gav - July sounds good . We may want to do this before the school hols though? I am just itching to go on that sort of drive again, and want to show the missus the awesome scenary

Happy to volunteer any help as well mate e.g. helping to organise the 'Northern Pod' part of NM3 or food stops etc. It sounds v.hard work just sorting the drive/route & food part, and that was without a drag meet

I think it would be nice to do another one around then as some of us will have done some mods etc - and really I know some people made a massive journey to get there, but it didnt seem like it was too much effort for anyway.

I think thats testament to the way it was organized, which is to say that it was well worth coming from a lot further away than you would normally for a meet.

In the past I have always found a load of people stood in a car park followed by a quick trip to Mac D's.

This one was well worth attending and if another comes up I would be confident of a good time even if its miles and miles away!!

If there is a general consensus, then I'm quite happy to organise another meet sometime in early July, same sort of format as before, with an emphasis on good driving roads and a pleasant social occasion. I'll leave it to others to sort any drag races etc!
