I know a guy, who had V1's on his xDrive Touring, and after a year or so they were shot. I have V2's on my E82 and so far so good.

I'm nearing 30k miles on my V1 on these terrible New England roads, and have no issues.

Changing lanes on the highway and taking off ramps at speed is where you notice the huge difference immediately. See if you can find someone local to take you for a ride. My wife drives the car two days a week and has never complained. |

I'd like to participate as well since I finally finished up my winter setup.
Here's my EC-7's front: 18x9.0" +31 w/Blizzak WS70 winter tires (225/40 but soon to be 235/40) rear: 18x9.5" +22 w/Blizzak WS80 winter tires (245/40) No rubbing front or back, but it should be noted that my rear quarter panels are rolled. ![]()

I got two questions: 1) Were you able to fit the rear wheels comfortably without rolling? 2) What are the snow conditions around your area? Do you worry about the fender rolling area being damaged due to salt-spray being stuck in the rolled-folds? |

I had the rear fenders rolled a long time ago, they weren't rolled for these wheels specifically. However, I don't think you could get away with the rear tire without rolling. We got heavy snow last year and the year before as well. I'm just good about keeping the car washed thoroughly during winter months when it snows and there's salt on the road. No metal is exposed since no paint peeled or cracked when we rolled the fenders, so i'm not concerned about that at all.

Hey guys.
I have a 2013 335i coupe M sport. It currently has style 230m wheels, which i'm about to sell... I'd like to buy ARC-8 wheels and just wanted to know if i could run 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with say 235 in the front and 265 in the rear with NO modifications aka fender rolling/spacers? Thanks! |

Unfortunately, that is as wide as you can go without modifications with the ARC-8's. If you are willing to do either the EC-7's or PS-7 wheels, you can do the 18x9" ET31 front wheels which is a little wider with a 255/35/18 street tire at stock ride height with the same rear fitment of 18x9.5" ET35 with a 265/35/18 street tire. This fitment is not available for the ARC-8 style.

I've been looking at the ARC-8 in 17x9 ET30. What's the recommended tire size for Michelin PSS? I have a '09 335i with the base suspension? Also, is there a need to roll the rear fenders with this wheel/tire combo? Thanks!

Almost same question as above, except I have an 08' xi,E90.
I want to keep a square setup on the Arc-8 17x9 et30 rims I bought, but torn between 255/40 and 245/40 tires (I'm thinking of giving the new Pirelli Zero+'s a shot) I'd like to have my cake and eat it too!, i.e. Cushy DD over lousy roads, but occasional HPDE track day worthiness. Stock susp. right now, upgrade later w/ minimal lowering/$ (B6's or koni equivalent). Like a wide look w/beefy sidewall. Lowpro, meh. |

I found a lot of pics of similarly styled wheels when I was looking to buy, but not specifically 19" PS-7s, so I'm posting mine, streaks on the car and all. 225/35 and 265/30 PSS. Rears rub on occasion with just me in the car on the stock IS suspension. Will go to 235/35 when fronts need the next replacement and maybe lowering perches at some point.
As measured on my finely calibrated $12.99 digital bathroom scale: OEM 19x8 ET37 225M 28.8 lbs OEM 19x9 ET39 225M 29.8 lbs PS-7 19x8.5 ET35 PS-7 21.2 lbs PS-7 19.9.5 ET33 PS-7 22.8 lbs ...for an unsprung weight savings of about 29lbs. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
