In early 2003, I ordered my first BMW. A 2003 325i black/tan sport package. Hooked me for life. Since, I've owned the following: 2003 525i sport, 2011 328i sport, currently 2014 335i msport, ppk, MPE, other m bits. Looking forward to a M down the road.

My first was an '01 X5 4.4i. I had a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8 that spent more time on a lift than under my butt. The dealer didn't do the right thing, it was basically a lemon but didn't have the same exact issue three times. I spent over 200 days in service over the course of two years. I told the dealer to get me out of it and into a new one. They wanted to roll the remaining payments into the new one. I was having none of that. It's not that I wanted a newer model, I just wanted one without issues.
The dealer told me they couldn't do anything, call Chrysler. Chrysler wouldn't do anything. After a beautifully written letter to the Attorney General, Chrysler not only got me out of my lease, they gave me $10,000. I grabbed the X5 off the lot and never looked back. Had the Jeep dealer or Chrysler done the right thing when I asked them, I would have been a loyal Jeep owner forever. I thank Chrysler every day. I'm now on my 7th BMW. My first BMW is my recently purchased 340i.
I knew I wanted a BMW because I grew up with them: 1993 e36 325is coupe 2001 e46 330i sedan 2008 e70 X5 4.8i 2008 e92 335i 2011 e70 X5 35i 2016 F82 M4 All are and were awesome to drive. Especially driving the e36/46. Loving the B58 engine especially because it is my own

My current M235i. After spending 6 months test driving cars, I don't know if I'll ever switch to a different brand. I've never had so much fun driving a car, and nothing on the market compares.

If you like the look do it! You'll be staring at it every time you walk past Plus the M sport seats are much better than the regular ones.

I had a 1989 Calypso Red E30 325is coupe 5 speed and sunroof. What a cool car. Still a great looking car this day.

New to Bavarian Motor Works
I live in Europe and bought a 1997 320i (E36). When I go to order parts I don't see that model listed, it's either 318 or 328. Which is compatible for my 320? Is there a difference in Euro spec BMWs??

87 318i (ugly tan color, almost NO power)
shortly followed by 90 e30 325is - just dreamy, I was in high school, graduated in 2001 so it was still "old" then too but man I loved that car, wish I kept it. Wrenched a lot on that car. It got me hooked to moding, handling was AMAZING!!! Sorry for the $%#$ photo, I have a clean one somewhere... |

Delphin Grey 1986 325es, that I bought new. First new car, and would love to have that car back, and regret trading it in (with 182k miles) for a really crappy 1992 325i, when the E36 was first released.
