I have an extremely vivid imagination. I could easily project this to anyone who smiles, whether in real life, or my dreams (if I could ever sleep again)
And I BET there's at least one of those funky creatures that shakes it's head really fast, or a body that contorts and then walks on the ceiling, somewhere in this movie.

Okay, I'm going to have to put my flame suit on for what I'm about to post.
My wife and I went to the movie show yesterday and saw Where the Crawdads Sing. It was a simple, slow-paced story with beautiful scenery, great acting by the main character. This is not a shoot 'em up action movie. It's just a straight forward story-well-told based on a best-selling novel. We loved it! Wait, what's this about needing a flame suit? Here it comes: One of the best parts of the movie was the soundtrack written and performed by Taylor Swift. She wrote this in Appalachian Folk style and recorded it in one take using all pre-1953 instruments to keep it authentic with the movie time period. She can actually sing! Possibly Academy Award soundtrack. Check it out of you dare: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q94kA7llGw |

After seeing Where the Crawdads sing and seeing the lyrics to the soundtrack, I'm really impressed by how well she nailed it. I cannot tell my grand kids that I'm becoming a Taylor Swift fan.

The Legend of Tom Dooley.
Michael Landon's second movie playing Dooley hounded by the Feds and others for killing an enemy soldier not knowing the Civil War was over with no justice and only hanging as the judge and jury but help is at hand. Watching it at breakfast. |

Here's quiz for the movie buffs:
The young girl caricature represents Natalie Portman when she was twelve years old. What is the name of the movie and who plays her sidekick. |
