Hey all, I figured I might as well say hello on this thread after perusing the forums for a while. I bought my 2009 E90 335i 6MT about 2.5 years back. I know a couple local BMW guys but that's about it. I wouldn't mind meeting and learning from some of you guys on here

I did. Pics should be in my sig. The stock tips just look so small like peashooters.

If the sig does not work because photobucket sucks let me know and I will post them here with a link to buy the tips.

I think they look perfect.

As far as EMP goes they are catching a TON of shit regarding their tuning practices. I only trust motiv. Best turbo kit, highest hp on an n54, they actually race an n54 powered car, the boost box, etc.

Honestly the PE with catless downpipes is as loud as I would want my car...maybe even too loud as a dd, which it is not.

Hopefully in a few months I will have new pictures to post.

I’m in between on what to do with my 335is exhaust, which is basically just the PE but with the valves for low-RPM torque/cold starts. I would imagine the valves are far enough in that tips won’t affect them, but I need to do some research. Plenty of time before Spring.

Adding downpipes is going to make this thing LOUD, louder than I probably want. I wish I could hear what yours sounds like again. This isn't my DD, luckily.

DPs do make it significantly louder w/ the PE.

Nope, still have mine in the e92, have not had a reason to use it yet

FYI Kidde has a MASSIVE recall on fire extinguishers so if you have one double check. They sent me two new ones for old ass ones that were expired but I still had around my house.

Any reputable places around here that can do an auto - manual swap on 328i xdrive? I'm gonna take a 3 - 4k loss by trading in my care anyway and I can't find a blue water/oyster combo around here in manual anyway, so...

Honestly, sell the car. I almost made the same mistake on my maxima and I was going to do the work myself. No normal shop is going to touch it. Any shop that will is going to charge you an arm and a leg as they should.

Trade it and get a 335i manual if you really want to stay in the body style.

I wouldn't do an auto to manual swap on anyone's e9x car unless it was so modified it was the only choice...even then...find a buyer.

Sucks but this is the honest truth. Sorry.
