All these price shoppers think that you are making $200K as a bmw dealer. they dont get that there is a huge overhead in owning your own dealership. and i dont think you want to say "hey Shong thank you for letting me get you a 46K car ....I really enjoyed spending the few hours working up #'s, car delivery, car ordering and trying to get you a great price" people just dont get it and its really none of their business how much dealers and you make. My 2 cents. |

my friends of a friend wanted to trade me his e46 m3 turbo 60-1 for my car straight up... i lefted bc of milage... he knows nothing about cars, and probably beat the hell out of it since its been turbo for 2 yrs now and its a stock motor... was i right to laugh at such a deal?

We should tell that person to ask for quotes around the tri-state area instead. When I ask for quotes, I was willing to go at least 1k over invoice, which was 3-5% profit as industry practice warrants.
