I have not been going to church for years, other than holy days and when I travel abroad I like to go to a old church and hear a mass in another language, but my Chinese wife is becoming a Christian/Catholic and going thru the RCIA program at HolyName to be baptized and confirmed, and this will be my 5th sunday to attend church, and you know what, its kind of nice, maybe I am getting old, but its nice to reflect on the sermons, and just relax. I was really turned off for years over the sex abuse/pedo priest scandal for sure, and still has a bad feeling when I think about it, but the church itself, like any faith, is nice respite from daily life...what ever you pray too, or for, dont discount it...
Thats my 2 cents for the day. Da Bears... |

I agree race. Stopped going after college, but it's does have a relaxing effect. Time to reflect. I need to get back at it.

The prevent d they went to late in the game is by biggest issue with that team. The strat that held them to 10 points all game is throwing out and we leave these huge holes any competent QB can tear a part. Its why we never can go deep into the playoffs where every team at that level has a QB that will find a way.

Why does everyone think a spy on Wilson was the answer? Did I miss him NOT outrunning all the LB's to the edge?
Flat out our front 4 didn't contain him well enough to get it done, but his big gains weren't up the middle, they were on the outside so a spy would have just left a guy open for him to throw to for a 25 yrd gain instead of 10. Put a nickel back on him and maybe he gets chased down faster but again, the front 4 were the key to keeping him in the pocket. Horrible tackling on our part too. I said it at the beginning of the year, don't sleep on Wilson this year, he's the real deal who can run AND throw and he will not quit. |
