That's more than likely an air suspension. So he/she definitely airs up before they move.

How do ya'll feel about air cups? I'm considering getting some Broadway Statics and putting air cups on them.

They tried to make mine with air cups, but they only got 20mm lift (due to short piston). You'll have to have zero preload to make them lift more than that.

I actually don't have any clearance issues to need cups. My only problem is from bumps and dips on highways at 50+ mph. I can't really avoid those. Lol

Lol, I live downtown Atlanta, so I have a lot of inclines, speedbumps etc.

I commute about 450 miles per week but I stay out of the cities. The freeways near them that I use are bad enough. The last time I was in DC I hit some abrupt construction pavement and bent a coilover strut, cracked my fender and flexed my roof. It was my 1st time in DC in like a year. The very reason I avoided that place was what got me. If I had to daily into DC or Baltimore for work I would sell this car and get a Jeep Wrangler...

As low as I dare go until I can get my air cups for the coilovers. Still having massive rubbing on the top of the fenders in the front when turning; maybe I can try sanding the plastic fender a little on the inside

Even with a cup kit they are really only used for over obstacles when you are moving at low speeds. Like maybe a speed bump or a parking lot or drive way. On a road or highway, you're reaction time and how long it takes the system to engage you are still gonna hit whatever is on the road.

I drove cross country in an Evo with the fortune cup kit, and only engaged the system twice. Once to leave the convention center for SEMA and the other time to enter the parking garage at the hotel I stopped at.

As damn that silver e92 makes me wanna order a bumper for my rear ASAP. nice set up.
