Other than the excessive wastegate duty cycle I think that tune is working quite well on your car. The boost and timing targets are pretty conservative. What gas are you feeding it? 94 octane or 91 octane? |

So is it a bad ic then? since my IATs are going too high? I see people saying theirs go like 20 degrees above ambient on pulls... One thing to note, I was driving about 2 hours continuously before the pull (just cruising), not sure if that would affect anything, which is why I didn't mention it in the original post.

I've been running jb4/bef for a little while but just went fbo and switched over the MHD stage 2+ 94CAD. Really enjoying it however when I took a glance at my log, noticed I wasnt hitting my boost target, however I'm by no means an experienced log reader lol. Just wanted to make sure everything else looks good, and then figure out the underboost issue from there 👍.

Wondering if someone could take a look at these logs and let me know what they think.
https://datazap.me/u/allcaps55/log-1...g=0&data=15-16 Ive gone through about a 1/4 tank of the E50 mixture and it feels like the car has been running phenomenally but after I took this log everything started to cut out when i got on the throttle. RPM would drop along with oil temp gauge and then it would cut back on. I luckily got home under light throttle but that has me concerned. Maybe the tune is just too aggressive and I should back off? I am in Colorado so thinner air along with shittier gas... Running MHD Stage 2+ E50 Mods are as follows: Downpipes, dual cone intake, vrsf exhaust Stage 3 LPFP with BPM4 EKP New Index 12 injectors New NGK 97506 at .22 New bosch coils 60k on stock turbos |

Hi im new here and this is my first post, but I've been having a limp mode issue at high rpm and was looking for some help. I'm not sure of what information I need to provide but my car is a 2007 335i. New coils, plugs, hpfp and battery all last week. Mods down pipes, charge pipe and bov. I just got MHD stage 2+ and I can post my log but I'm not sure what parameters I need showing on the graph. So just let me know and I'll post it. https://datazap.me/u/recoiletiquette...?log=0&data=22

I'd follow the advice and replace all vacumn lines, if they haven't been done recently, and check both boost Solenoids and vacuum canisters, I had a cracked nipple connection way back, underneath cannisters and some bright spark decided to tape the Vacumn lines to the cannisters nipple connection point was a good idea. Face-palm. 91 octane is pretty poor fuel. Running higher octane fuel will also most likely eliminate your minor timing pulls. Last edited by Saif2018; 05-28-2020 at 10:29 PM.. |

No timing corrections so that's good, have you replaced all vacumn lines, checked boost Solenoids and vacumn cannisters, Intercooler connections? You want to eliminate any possibility of a boost leak, even a small one, before jumping to the turbos. I would cut back from stage 2+ at the moment and run a less aggressive tune for the time being. I don't know why you got new Bosch coils, you should have got Eldor ones or Delhi ones failing that. What fuel are you running? |

I'm at 3500 feet so maybe that has something to do with it? But yes, the car has 180k kms, so shes getting up there. I have a bad habit of building into the throttle vs just punching it, so the flatline was probably on my part.

Have you tried using wastegate rattle fix on MHD or JB4 to see of you can reduce/eliminate rattle? There are some manual adjustments which you can try to fix rattle as well, you can can find them on YouTube. Failing all that, could be your wastegates just not holding enough boost, I had similar problem, had to have turbos taken out and fitted with uprated wastegates to fix the problem. |

I have recently replaced the vacuum lines but not the boost solenoids. I'll put those on the list. Currently running an e50 mix |

Check the charge pipe connections and intercooler connections as well just to be on the safe side. Also those vacumn canister connection points, especially at the bottom which isn't visible unless you take the cannisters out. |

By 2.5-3k turbos should ramp up to full boost quick. This isn't a good log, you lifted off about 5.5k rpm. you need to have DSC fully off, hold it down for a few seconds till it goes off completely, switch to manual gear shift, get to 3rd gear, also you need to do full throttle log from 2.5k rpm (3rd gear) to at least around 6.5k rpm Repost log after doing the above. |
