How about it - considering how expensive brake jobs are on these cars the videos on changing rotors and pads are really straight forward !!

I have to do something to my e90 soon it's still stock and begging for a rear carbon fiber spoiler and new konis or bilsteins !!!

How is this procedure done, I have not tried it yet. I'm thinking it may stop that grinding thud thud sound I get from the back. Very annoying

I'm thinking about KONI FSDs in the near future. Probably in the winter when my racecar isn't eating up all my play money.

Only the rear one. My pads weren't actually worn too much. Car developed a pretty aggressive vibration under braking and pedal travel felt a little spongy over the last few months. Little troubleshooting led me to believe that its most likely the rotors in the front - while I was at it, I got all 4 rotors and pads (Napa Premium Rotors + Textar Pads) with a little bit more bite ). Rear sensor was faulty so took the time to change that while I was at it. Now the vibration is gone and braking is back to my preference!

Just for fun I have looked at the brake hardware like caliper pins and caps and bushings, can't believe how much they cost! Guess I'm using what came with the car for life (the front could be like $88 per caliper? wth? Meyle aftermarket is better but still a lot)

Step 1) find stem
Step 2) remove cap
Step 3) take a deep breath
Step 4) blow as much air in that stem as you can
Step 5) repeat as needed

It took me about 5 or so breaths to get 1 PSI so it may take a while

I filled her up with some Top Tier (I actually don't care about this but my favorite gas became Top Tier) this AM, 93 octane. The last time I got fuel was 4/15, because of the Takata thing. Getting new tires on a week from Monday...the 335i is BACK!!

Most of the time, I only exceed the speed limit by 5-9 mph.

True story, I needed my wife to drive the Enterprise 328i xdrive back to the dealer, following me in my 335i.

She had our < 3 y.o. son in the baby seat, and told me later I was so tempted to pass you, you drive so slowly!
