They r gonna cover and send to IND to take care of it. Nice. Piano black interior looks so much cleaner. Down side I think my battery just took the plunge. What's the best place to buy a battery? Might just have them program it while my car is there all week anyways.

Great, be sure to post pics of the Mtech!

Also, I have the piano black trim in my E46 and I like it much more than my previous aluminum trim.

Only problem is it shows every smear and fingerprint! o_O

Seth, stopped into Naperville running company to try out the prophocy's and they said they shipped them a back as they werent selling? After I explained what I was looking for (a shoe that will give me more cushioning when training but still not likely to give me bad habits like move to a heal strike at higher pace), and he said the prophecy was on the extreme end of the cushioned ride.

He suggested 4 shoes and after trying them out two stood out for me. Saucony Kinvara and Altra Instinet. Any thoughts on those?

Saucs are Bauce that's the other shoe I run in but it's not built for mid foot striking.... Well the ones I have aren't at least. I still think the prophecys are the ones to have.

If u buy I'm at runningwarehouse.com and don't like um they have free returns. Give um a try, I think you'll dig um.

Are the prophecy's designed for midstrike? They seem to get backed a bit for encouraging heel strikes.

did you get evaluated to and have your stride and strike evaluated to come to those conclusions, or is that just your own self analysis?

As a guy who has logged a ton of miles, I can't tell you how that helped me, but what do I know?

What did the sales guy say? Have you checked reviews?

Yea, they put me on a tread mill and used a video camera and computer to analysis my stride (same process they did a couple months ago when I bought my Merril Trail Gloves) as a part of trying out the shoes. Both times they said I had a mid-foot strike.

The sales guy said they are the most cushioned running shoe there is. When he brought out the 4 shoes, I confirmed that none of the shoes would potentially give me bad habits like over striding or a heal strike and he confirmed that they would not.

No they are, maybe thats not their intent but they do the job damn well. The rest of mizunos lineup is mostly heel strike.

If you look at the design, you'll notice more "shock" design up front than the rest of their shoes (like the wave creation).

Come try mine on if you like. Wearing these last month dropped over a min off my 5k time because I could strike harder/longer on the midfoot rather than just running back on my heels.

He said he wouldnt recommend the Prophs for me, based on how cushioned they were and not really matching what I am looking for. If you read reviews on it, they say they are amazing at how well they are cushioned, but really do encourage heel strikes as they do so well at absorbing them.

Kind of like the aktins diet, lose weight and eat meat and cheese all day, but is that really good for you?
