What's the MF again?

I think you can do up to 7.

(0.00007 x 7) = 0.0049

assuming 8% tax and 36 mo lease

m3: 53% resid, .00275 mf
mo payment = 1250

335: 58% resid, .00245 mf
mo payment = 775

I'm not sure you would get a better return on the bank. You can write this off.

Your MF should be 0.00226 if there are no markups.

so basically a 500 difference..

if u were to keep for the lease term ud have to ask yourself: is it worth the $6000 a year? and what else could i do with that?

or, if it were me (which it isnt) i would look at financing the 335... probably be a 1000 payment, but lets say you decided to make a 1250 payment (same as the m3) you would have paid 45,000 of probably a 55,000 loan off in 3 years.... so lets say u just pay off that last 10000 at the end of 3 years you now own the bitch and then sell it if u want...

Not much thru the bank.

Leasing often offers more flexibility and less liability. Whether or not it makes more since financially depends on the numbers. It's not as black and white as you are putting it.

The thing is, if he gets a 335i, he doesn't want a $1000 payment on it because he will be spending that money (modding).

And u can make it a tax write off and get more of a return than a typical cd or savings account.

Heck, if he puts 7k down in MSDs, that insures the fact that he will save the money. Who's to say that Nabil will save 7k if he didn't put it in MSDs anyways?
