Thanks for posting this. What about 265/30/19 with 15mm spacers in the rear. Will SuperSports rub?

I've got factory option 225M wheels which I think are the same size and offset that most 335is's come with. 15mm spacers on the rear. i'd like to get a little more rubber to the road. I still have 255/30/19 runflat PZeros but am quickly wearing through them

Any thoughts? I know there are a ton of tire size/rubbing threads out there, but it is nearly impossible to search through them to find what I'm looking for...

According to realOEM they are the exactly the same size and offsets for both front and rear. I think that 265/30/19 with 15mm spacers in the rear would still rub but only on harsh bumps or with people in the back or stuff in your trunk. If I were you I would get your fenders rolled first just to be safe.
I'm hoping to get my fenders rolled tomorrow, because they are eating my tires alive. I still need to find a solution for my tires rubbing in the front.
Oh and get rid of those runflats.

I am changing the charge pipe. I noticed oïl in it. Is it time to buy oïl catch can?

Is it normal to find oïl in charge pipe?

I finally finished all 172 pages of 335is history from 2011 to present. I've been drooling over these for a long time and finally decided I could afford one. I took a chance on a high mile unit and am working through some SES and rough idle issues. I've scheduled a Walnut Blasting for next week which I'm hoping will help, but overall this is a very nice car!

I've been working on getting it up to my standards and fixing a few things. Everyone has been very helpful! Mike







and for the dog lovers out there....my new German Shepherd puppy....

Changed mine recently and the old one had oil in it as well... Can't comment on needing a catch can, but can attest to oil being in the old charge pipe...

Hi

I am installing the INjen intake on my IS...

For those who has the INjen intake, what do you do with the little box called "Tyco electronic"?

For now, it is ugly....

the box is beside of the power steering reserve

That box is where the additional fans for the extra electric fans for the radiators in the fender wells get power. It's easy to see from the heavy gauge wire and if you follow them around and see where they go. There isn't a whole lot of slack or room so you'll have to get creative.

Actually, it is a relay for the main fan for the radiator. There are no additional fans in the fender wells. Since the 335is (and regular 335i's with the PPK Stage 2) have a higher wattage fan they had to fit this relay to support the added current draw.

I stand corrected, thanks for clearing that up... I'm was only repeating what the tech told me when I asked what it was as I didn't remember ever seeing that on the normal 335i.

Opinions or experience...I'm looking for easy plug and play performance boost - will a Burger Motor sports BMS JB+ work on our 335is's?

I purchased the oem plugs on Amazon. Comes with a set of 6. You will also need the spark plug tool and a 10" extension for the socket to reach the plug. I have the BMS spark plug tool. It's magnetic and holds the plug in. Just did the job last night and everything is great =)

If you don't want to spend money in the Cobb, the JB4 is perfect. Just installed it a few weeks ago with no issues and I'm loving it! Especially the Guage hacking to see boost pressure. I also have the 2 step and no lift shift which is fun.

ppl sell used cobbs and jb4s all the time.. there's no need to get a v3 unless you're actually using the dials everytime you drive.

but of course, up to you If you want the jb+ and not the jb4/cobb
