Just so we’re talking about the same thing, right now (this of course is my opinion, which clearly is just that), for the M2 it isn’t bad, based on (relative to) what the Finance rates BMWFS is offering. Again, I’ve never leased an M car, I’m speaking solely compared to the Financing offers.
Yes, you can lease an i4 35, an iX or a base 3 series for better but those aren’t M2s. BMW has no reason to offer better rates on them. Please feel free to demonstrate why I’m incorrect as I’m always eager learn and grow as an individual and I’ll certainly eat my words. |

5% is pretty inoffensive on an M car lease. I might switch to a lease if that's true.

Order Now - update specifics later?
I was at local dealership for maintenance work and noticed a M2 on the floor and casually asked about the price. Story was that if I wanted to purchase this one off the floor it would be several thousand $'s above MSRP. But if I wanted to order one, (and wait for close to a year), then it would go at MSRP.
If I were to order one, and put down a deposit, do I need to specify everything at that point, or can I change things closer to delivery? Right now, I don't like any of the colors available on M2's, but since if I order off the 2023 price list - I would probably be taking delivery of a 2024 model when my wait is over. Could I change other things from the 2024 build guide once that come out?

Will be interesting to see if you move out of it before me, been there since the 10th. Getting annoying. Hopefully they just haven’t updated it and it’s actually done and holding for transport.

If I remember correctly you are also doing PCD. I would imagine we will be on the same boat.

I hope we make them. They seem quite backed up with produced cars awaiting transport. |

Has your CA given you any kind of estimated delivery timeframe? I gave three dates in early June. Getting skeptical of making those based on what the G42 and G20 chaps are seeing. |

Originally my dealer was trying to get out of doing PCD but I got them to agree to it by emailing PCD directly and then they looped my dealer in and suddenly it was all possible again.

When I got my i4 last year, which came from Germany, they give me options when it got to the VPC. It was a different dealer in another state. Not sure why I was asked to pick so early this time. I really hope we get on the Torino which is heading to Brunswick, but I doubt it. https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9398321 |

Either way they tried to frame it like the PCD was the entity that was saying it might not be possible. So when I emailed them and they responded by CC'ing my CA instructions they didn't really have a way of saying no lol.
