Informed today the replacement ring and pinion gear set for the diff shipped to Jim today. So there's a shred of hope...

BTW, they towed it through the car wash today (LMAO) -- would've paid cash money to take a picture of that. Anyway, the drain holes in the Seibon trunk lid are in the wrong place. If I hadn't opened the trunk to take a picture we wouldn't have known it was full of water. Going to take care of that obviously but it's not really a big deal.

That 3" wide six point harness is a serious pita to get hooked up once you crawl into the car and fall into the tilted back seat. Gonna be seriously uncomfortable getting into it in the summer after it's been outside for awhile.

Radio is coming out and going to the bandsaw, all the antenna modules, wiring, MOST bus, speakers, and amp are coming out as are the TPMS module and sensors. The TCU hadn't been pulled yet because of the MOST bus but now that's moot so it'll come out at the same time.

The passenger seat is tilted back more than the driver seat to help with holding on during braking as there's no wheel or pedals to help. Hadn't thought of that.

And the Accusump is now getting wired in as I'd forgotten to put the wire color on the relay in the schematic, duh.

The aluminum trunk close-off panel to go where the rear seat back would've isn't going to be installed as it's clear it would make it impossible to load for the track so it's gonna be a lot louder than I thought. Thus it's time to pull the radio.

oh yeah, they said the rear rotors really sing while they pulled it around the lot quickly to get as much water off as possible. That would've been hilarious to watch, too. But it also means it's done being a quiet car...

It's baaaaaack...

Only took nine months, more or less. But the temp sensor and -AN fittings never got installed (long story). All the parts are in transit; the shop will machine the cover and weld in the bosses when they get here Friday and the diff will finally be back in the car. At least they won't have to tow it through the car wash again...

Final ratio changed from 3.73 to 3.91 and ramps from 45/45 to 30/60. Fifth gen Performance Gearing LSD, will wait a while before getting it rebuilt as a sixth gen configuration.
