it is surprising in EU, in Belgium wou will pay 150 Eu fee for transport to Belgium, but in GErmany you have to pay 650 Eu fee, also if your dealer is 200kms away from Munich!!!
Bad BMW, very bad....

i obtained 15% low price (but it is a diplomatic sales)

Got a 112 status slot awaiting production date.

This is in the DC metro area.

For the base 325i, CA (internet sales) was asking $500 over confidential wholesale price + $200 DAG + $695 Destination + $100 Processing fee (full tank of gas and choice of mats thrown in) + new tags & tire disposal fee + applicable Sales Tax.

All options were given at confidential wholesale price, no markup.

All in all about 6.7% off MSRP in total (comparing OTD prices based on OTD on MSRP).

Probably not to best deal in the world but deal was done over the phone in 5 minutes without any sort of hassle. Thanks to all the helpful posts/posters.

Been pussyfooting over the specs, currently at SG/Black'ette/Poplar/Step/PDC/Xenons/Sirius
<considered arktis at one point>

Lemmeguess Passport BMW, Marlow Heights?

No key rings were mentioned but will definitely insist on the obligatory 2 key rings and perhaps the trunk liner

Yep, I'm thinking about asking for the valve stem caps too or in place of the key rings.

They're standard on the 330i.

Went to a southern Calif. BMW dealership today to see what lease price I can get on a 330i. Before getting down to the numbers I told the sales manager that people are getting their 330's for about $800 to $1000 over invoice. He stated that, that’s not so anymore because the 330's are in such high demand right now and that he doesn’t work off invoice, he works off MSRP. (If I was going to get the car today I would have walked out at this point but I wanted to get a rough number so I went with it.) We ran the numbers on a car they had in stock with the following options:

1. premium
2. sport
3. nav.
4. auto

The MSRP of the car is $44845 and invoice is $41095 (edmunds.com). I think he told me that he was giving a $1700 discount off MSRP but these were the terms:

With $3000 total drive off, for 36 months, with 10k mi/yr, with a "two three five" (.00235 or 2.35 %?) money factor: $562/mo (which includes 8.25% tax)

Is this a good deal? I'm sure that with a little negotiating I can get the price down a bit more but is this way off, should I try another dealership? Anyone have any experience with so. cal. dealers they would like to recommend? Any help would be appreciated.

Signed the purchase order today for an ED 330i for pickup June 9. Premium, Cold Weather, Sport, Navigation, Comfort Access, Park Distance, Satellite radio prep, Sparkling Graphite (this may change - haven't seen Arctic in person yet), grey leather, brushed aluminum. $1,400 over invoice ($40,530). This was with Joern Esser at Passport BMW in Maryland, and was about $2,000 less than what VOB wanted.

Greetings, guys/gals. I was given a quote of 46,000 USD (excluding sales tax) for the following auto:

'06 330xi
Premium
iDrive
Steptronic
Sport
Cold Weather
Style 162 Wheels
Sirius
Metallic Paint

Does this seem to be a reasonable quote? I didn't feel like I had to really twist the salesperson's arm at all in order to agree upon the negotiated price. Thanks in advance for all of your inputs!

$39370 broken down as follows:

Invoice: 38520
MACO: 400
Acq Fee: 825 (Marked up from $695 base)
Doc Fee 45

I realize with MACO and Marked up acq fee, it's not truly zero over, but I'm quite satisfied!

Here is my deal, I'm signing tomorrow.

$600 over invoice, no maco.

$695 for documentation fee and nothing else.

36 months, 12k miles, 64% residual
money factor is 0.00195

monthly is 527 after tax for a 330i, auto, sport, premium, metallic paint.

Your advise is appreciated.

Just reading the posts here and just amazed at how much over the odds we pay in the UK.

I knew things were bad, but I find it appalling at what the government takes off us for the price of cars. This is even before you consider the high cost if road tax and insurance, and of course petrol (currently at 1.6 dollars a litre).

The cost of a 318, without options starts at $36000!

I think that the US actually does have it better in many ways - I think I'll apply for my green card today - cheaper BMW's and affordable housing!!

you guys pay 17.5% VAT, road tax, congestion charges etc ... and with that USD-GBP exchange rate. Ouch! ... Slight consolation, you guys get to spec out your car's kit a la carte, a bigger range (incl the td's) and best of all you get Euro Clears standard j/k

We may have cheaper BMWs, but here in the Bay Area I don't think the housing's more affordable! On the other hand, the weather's much better!

California - any day!

The base E90 330i M Sport is £31,800 on-the-road (OTR) ($55,332) and I've spec'd it up to £38,000 ($66,120)

After a lot of haggling, the dealers gave me 8.9% off the OTR price, which is a discount of £3382 ($5884). So i got my 330i ordered for £34,618 ($60,235) which is a good discount in the UK.

Not forgetting of course, I'll have to pay at least $7.90 a gallon for the gas!

Roll on week 14! (8 week delivery)

Guys,

Does it help any if one tells the dealer one is going to put down $16000 cash and finance the rest?

Just a question,

Thanks,

Leo.

I don't see it making a difference in terms of getting you a better deal......at most dealerships the financing person is not the one who negotiates the price anyway, they are given the paperwork with the sales price by your SA......
