E9X Fuel economy

2005 e90 320i manual. 32.4 mpg in the 3k miles ive done in it. About half on a major a road to and from work.

I'm returning an average of 33mpg over the last 1000 miles with a mixture of 50% motorway driving and about 30% town driving with the remainder A roads in my e91 330d auto pre LCI. Have only had the car a fortnight and compared to my previous 525d manual e39 it seems to be about 11mpg down with the same trips and driving style

The power of the e91 compared to the previous e39 and e46 diesels is incredible though!

2010 320 efficient dynamics manual. Drive 95% motorway, owned for 20k miles and car displays 67.2mpg!!!

Running on v power diesel and after filling up car states range of over 900 miles!
Best all round car I've ever owned.....

Yep can't state enough how happy I am with it! Even beats my previous car, a Peugeot 207 HDI 90 which managed 64.1 mpg

Of course, it's a 320ed - you won't get that sort of economy from a petrol or even hybrid

About 400 miles to the tank? Great numbers on a 335i me thinks, mostly motorway miles with occasional adrenaline rushes

Picked up my 335i SE Auto yesterday from Surrey and drove it back to Aberdeen, Scotland. 2006 Car with 65k miles, made it home in 8hrs averaging 85-90mph and got steady 32mpg! Was absolutely delighted, wasnt expecting it at all. 400miles to the tank!

just got my 325i last week, been trying to drive as economical as possible, because im only getting 12.5mpg. The car was bought from BMW and it has just been serviced so

it is an ED325i e92 with 19" rims if that makes a difference

yeah I reset it when I got the car, when I drove it back from Bristol I received it with 22.9 mpg

Not really, ive noticed the car takes a while to warm up but I do 20-30 minute drives. Today was my first trip on the motorway since Bristol to London. Now im at 20.0 MPG

Something is very wrong there.

Firstly make sure the mpg is set to imperial and not US gallons.

Then check the temperature of the car, should be sat at 90ºc and should get there in 5 minutes or 3 miles on yours really, maybe a smidge long this time of year.

You need to sear google for e90 temperature as it is in the hidden menu.
