Out of curiosity.... I noticed there are now metal plate lsd's for the 2007+ 6AT cars. Are these 1.5 way, 2 way....?

Yes, they are available as a rebuilt carrier, and will be included in the BF Countdown

We can pre-set it for you, yes.

We normally recommending changing fluid whenever you change your engine oil (regardless of type of LSD), to keep if functioning at optimum. This is more important with the Plate LSD's though due to wear components.

On your helical, what is the torque distribution to the wheels? 50/50, 40/60...?

It's a Helical LSD, so torque is in a constant state of bias between the left/right wheel, depending on which wheel is slipping, and which wheel has more traction.

The wheel with traction can have up to 75% of the torque transferred to it. So to answer your question, anywhere between 25-75%

It's torque biasing, so it is going to send up to 75% of available torque to the wheel that has traction. In a perfect world it would be a consistent number however an uneven road and/or varying conditions will change applied torque as the differential will transfer the torque to the wheel with available traction.
