So little updates.
Went and saw Raj from Full House Customs this morning again I brought a brake caliper up with me so we could match the centre caps and lug nut caps. So that is being made up now. My new VRSF 7" intercooler, Charge Pipe, and Tial Bov have all arrived too!!!! So hope to have them fitted this weekend. I went down and visited the guys from Max Protect... Here are some pics of how the detail is coming along. I am so excited to pick the car up. They have brought the colour out of the paint which was better than the day i picked it up lol The car hasn't been waxed or sealed in these pics yet!!!! The last one is the bonnet and it just looks blue under the light! |

I would have loved to but I think it's going to be Santa Pod for me Josh I want to try the drag strip! Such a shame they're both on the same day...
Is A1 fitting the kit tomorrow then? I'll look forward to the pics

The car is driving really smoothly now since the tranny was re done! Coolant seems to have made a difference and the motor is staying a little cooler. A REAL SHAME THE REAK BBK COULDN'T GO ON! They just didnt clear the rear wheel due to the deep dish. Only option looks like is getting a bbk in the same existing size as the rear disc. Even going up to a 350mm wouldn't work i do not think! Grabbed a couple pics of the car parked up at Steve and how the BBK looked once installed The braking has improved and im loving the looks!!! Quote:
The quality of car was impressive!!! Real nice crowd and the sun was blasting all day! Was a PROPER show! I heard Pod was more of a meet Quote:
WESTSIDE SHOW 28th Sep 2014 So Westside SHOW was amazing! What away to spend a Sunday! A lot of nice cars, in a well kept field, with a lot of sun for late Sep and 26degrees! Nice bunch of lads and a real nice fresh kofte kebab instead of the usual burger. I didn't take many pics of other cars as the pros will post up loads of pics anyway. I am waiting for a few of mine but i have a few i caught quickly with my phone I'll be at the BLUEWATER MEET SHOW AND GLOW next week! The more the merrier! Not fantastic pics. But headlights making their debut. The orange rings and colour changing demon eyes as well as the cool white rings certainly we a hit, but there were the odd few INCluding myself that is still on the shelf mainly because of the Amber ring. I am tempted to turn it into an indicator though. But i will run with it for a while and see if it grows on me. Better pics will follow. Marius Snapped this pic. Sorry its bad quality. I took it from his Instagram account. You should follow him as he takes some awesome pics! Janis from MaxProtect came down and paid a visit! Really nice guy and thanks to his detail, the paint was popping and looking better than ever! The grounds were the perfect size for walking about. Cars parked well and spaced out and in their own sections. You could grab awesome shots being further from the car unlike at Players where cars were parked on top of one another. |

I need a replacement set of lights, so i will probably do a swap and cash my way. It was a fantastic location!!! The lawn was perfect for the cars and no mud at all. It is a cricket pitch after all! |

Car is looking good Josh.
Third photo below, appears to show a rippled lacquer/liquid where it meets the edge of the seal/rubber or my eyes are shot! That would annoy me if the finish achieved at the edges was not close to factory. The finish otherwise achieved, looks stunning. Quote:

When the guys at Max Protect took my window trim off to detail and re trim my trim. They found it that way. I guess the guy who resprayed my car didnt do the job as it should have been. But i guess you can't see behind there when the trim is on... So what ever. I'll have the car resprayed again in 2 years time or so. |

Do love that colour, even if it is a bit difficult to match.
