Got a big heavy ass deep discharge for $109, group 31 size I believe. Gotta be like 75lbs. Good enough for me, it's not like $300 at the marine store. Weighs just as much and a few more reserve hours. IIRC almost all the batteries in North America are manufactured by like 3 companies and then all private labeled etc. The one I bought being manufactured by Johnson Controls, who interestingly is a customer at my work but a different division and I had a call with them an hour before I bought the battery yesterday. Small world.

Are we going to have a meet in May? I haven't heard how shitty my paint is in like a year bro.

I'm down for a Spring meet. Getting my wheels refinished & powder coated now, my resonators arrived yesterday (secondary cat delete, rasp is killing me), and then I'm doing coilovers early/mid May. Should be all dialed in for a late May meet.

Someone buy these. Tires are basically brand new, all four have working TPM sensors, very minor curb rash on one wheel. Conti Cross Contact SSR, 225/45/17, RFT.

Well that’s the thing, I would be buying this car to replace my daily. I know an N54 daily isn’t the wisest idea but they’re very reliable if you stay ahead of the maintenance. It’s a risky play without any service history, I guess I have to decide how much that risk is worth.

Like what issues specifically? I honestly can't think of one issue my n54 had that was because of it being an 07. N54s just need attention and $$$.

If you dont buy 07 get 09 so you get an LCI that looks more modern etc. 08 is a useless year and only adds cost as it is a year newer imo. Same shit as an 07 build afaik.

Swissvax only sells waxes so take it with a grain of salt.

Coatings have their purpose but if you're spending thousands at a shop to protect, film makes more sense providing absorption, healing, and longer life. The main reasons coatings look so good are the prep and correction beforehand. Seems to be marketed towards people who don't wash regularly or can't maintain a clear coat. I'd consider coatings for wheels a better investment but most OTS versions only advertise 1-2 year durability.

I have yet to find any coating bead as well as Sonax polymer netshield imo. I'd rather wash, correct and seal every 6 mos.

So quick steel wool rub down to help adhesion and then ceramic seal you are saying?
