Which endlinks specifically? I might have a solution/upgrade for you.

Someone buy these. Tires are basically brand new, all four have working TPM sensors, very minor curb rash on one wheel. Conti Cross Contact SSR, 225/45/17, RFT.

Nothing you wrote shows any red flags for me. If it is the right price and features you want pick it up.

I'd avoid 07 regardless of history.

Well that’s the thing, I would be buying this car to replace my daily. I know an N54 daily isn’t the wisest idea but they’re very reliable if you stay ahead of the maintenance. It’s a risky play without any service history, I guess I have to decide how much that risk is worth.

I'd say I've had more first model year issues being a 10/06 prod date. My advice would be to hunt out an 08 at the very least. Why don't you ever listen, Jon?

If you dont buy 07 get 09 so you get an LCI that looks more modern etc. 08 is a useless year and only adds cost as it is a year newer imo. Same shit as an 07 build afaik. Last edited by Torgus; 05-13-2019 at 10:45 PM.. |

Still waiting
Do you anal detailing wizards agree? I never thought the coatings were worth it. This just reaffirms what I suspected all along.

Coatings have their purpose but if you're spending thousands at a shop to protect, film makes more sense providing absorption, healing, and longer life. The main reasons coatings look so good are the prep and correction beforehand. Seems to be marketed towards people who don't wash regularly or can't maintain a clear coat. I'd consider coatings for wheels a better investment but most OTS versions only advertise 1-2 year durability. I have yet to find any coating bead as well as Sonax polymer netshield imo. I'd rather wash, correct and seal every 6 mos. |

Quartz sand that is recently weathered from granite or gneiss quartz crystals will be angular. It is called grus in geology or sharp sand in the building trade where it is preferred for concrete, and in gardening where it is used as a soil amendment to loosen clay soils. Sand that is transported long distances by water or wind will be rounded, with characteristic abrasion patterns on the grain surface. Desert sand is typically rounded. People who collect sand as a hobby are known as arenophiles. Organisms that thrive in sandy environments are psammophiles.
