for my warranty period i'll use BMW oil. no point in risking it, they're paying for it if it messes up

do you plan on switching oils later after your warranty? i only ask because i bought my car in may of '05 and my warranty is about to end.

i thought about using castrol or mobil one. i figure hey its a bmw engine why not use oil made by bmw. im sure its a crock of shit, but my brain seems to like the reasoning

no i just have a buddy who wants me to try AMS... I still have lots of warranty left. Looks like AMS doesn't make any LL01 approved oil anyway.

oh i missed this one... yeah dont. amsoil doesnt have anything ll01 approved. Their european formula is ll04 which isn't the same.
