Dropped 10 lbs weight while increasing frame stiffness and cooling airflow to the differential.

*If anyone is interested in doing this, be advised the A-frame mount for the stock non-M tension strut is an 'interesting' project. Four large bolts attach this to the rear subframe. 3 of 4 bolts can be removed with a wrench and some creative ingenuity for access. The fourth bolt can not be removed without either a) destructive removal. the bolt can be cut. this is the method I used. b) drop the rear subframe for access. Definitely recommend method 'a)' rather than dropping the subframe, for convenience.
Interesting upgrade. My E90 has no rear bracing and I've toyed with the idea of installing the E92 "v-brace" but I'm not sure if it's worthwhile.

Haven't driven the car yet - traveling now.

This mod is probably only for the most performance / weight-obsessed. Will follow-up when I have feedback.

This mod brings total weight loss to around 300 lbs from stock.

In the past 3 weeks, I have done the following to my E92:

- Installed F/R Koni Yellows
- Installed F/R H&R Sport Springs
- Installed front sway bar end links
- Installed 4 new wheels (VMR V803)
- Installed 4 new tires (Michelin PSS)
- Installed F/R brake rotors (Zimmerman Z-coated)
- Installed F/R brake pads (Hawk HPS 5.0)
- Flushed and replaced brake fluid
- Changed all 6 spark plugs
- Cleaned and re-oiled air filter
- Replaced worn hood and trunk BMW roundels
- Vinyl wrapped shadow line in gloss black
- Performed 4-wheel alignment
- Painted calipers black with G2 caliper paint

And today I was finally able to detail it!

Only thing left to do in my preventive maintenance bucket list is walnut blasting the intake valves.

took her up to about 85 mph to test out the new PSS, all seems ok. retightened the lug nuts for the 3rd time, but they haven't loosened as they usually do. Will go another 60 miles and check one last time with the torque wrench.

How did you find the install? Took me ages to do mine.

Today I replaced the fuse in my reverse/forward camera retrofit.

Word of advise, keep the fuse box for it easily accessible, I had to remove everything to change it.

I would agree but was commenting on the members post. The only mods I can see on my own 335 is a set of Style 269 or 225's and see if there is a front lip that would look a little more aggressive. After nearly seven years in an E46, I tired off the racer boys putting M3 bumpers on their 325 whether it was a coupe or sedan.
