Never saw Carlos Santana live, always loved him. Great style guitar, and yes, very polished. Love the percussion in his songs as well.

Here's the original Oye Como Va, by Tito Puente. If you've never heard it before it's surprising how much it sounds like Santana's version. At least the first time I heard it I was surprised.

I have seen Carlos about 12 times always a treat. I was lucky enough to see the reunion tour w Neil Schoen and Greg Rolle w my sister at MSG in NY W great seats. The energy was superb as was the show. Carlos has so much respect for his craft and his audience, he is one of the very best.
