the activiation to unlock th doors is the entire backside of the handle. So once you grab the door handle it unlock automatically. None of this touch it with your thumb stuff
and it comes standard, its not an option

No it isn't. For example, on my car if I get out then my passenger gets out, if I hit the comfort access to lock on my car and she hasn't closed the door, it will lock as soon as she closes the door. The same applies to the trunk if I have it opened. I hit the lock button, go to the trunk, get my stuff, close the trunk, it automatically locks. I have an alarm so I hear the audible "chirp."
The Lexus on the other hand will not lock if there's another door open. It will just give you a long beep as a reminder another door is open. I prefer the BMW method where it will lock later for you. You don't have to wait for the other doors to close. The range is much shorter than my BMW. My +1 has a Lexus and it sucks because she always has the keys in her purse. Procede makes as much power to the wheels haha. Quote:
That can be an annoyance as well. Since I drive the IS a few times a week I can say I prefer BMW's comfort access much more. I also do not like the fact you cannot put your key in the Lexus. It sucks for Valet. You have to explain it to them and hope they do not lose the keyfob because it is not in the car.

The instrument cluster/lights are nice but the dash sucks. The buttons are far too large on the dash and the different menus suck. You don't have two windows on the Navi like BMW so if you go to like Climate or Audio, you can't see the navi at the same time. All the features are locked down on the car while driving also. You can't change your destination while driving. You can't access your playlists while driving if you have like a MP3 CD. You can fast forward by song one at a time you can't scroll thru them like on I-Drive. The Song names are truncated so you can't see them all as well. There's a few more features on their navi that I prefer on the BMW. The fit and finish of the door panels are nicer than our BMWs. But the e92 has the ambient lighting that looks very nice. Again, I have driven a IS 2-3 times a week for over a year now...

Oh yeah, the paddles are awkward and aren't the easiest to reach compared to the BMW ones IMO. The button layout for the different radio/audio modes are not in the best of positions. In the BMW everything is slanted towards the driver.
The Lexus leather is softer but at the same time much more delicate.

Foot. Another ghey.
The glove compartment is surprisingly small as well. It has this oddly placed divider IMO. BACK SEAT DOES NOT FOLD DOWN WTF! (big for me)
