I dont like alpine white any more

once a week I do this:

full wash, starting with the top of the car and working down, only washing the hood, roof, trunk, and half way down the side of the car. . . . save the bottom half for later. And always move the mit in a back and forth motion, never in circles because linear scratches are harder to see then circular ones.

I also use clay on the exhaust tips, head lights and tail lights,wheel lips, and windows durring the washing stage. I wash the wheels first, NEVER using any wheel cleaners, just the same high quality soap i wash the car with.

Then the drying. . . . using either new or freshly washed giant microfiber towels that I first inspect for debris caught in the fibers. Then use compress air to blow water out of all the cracks and space in the wheels and everywhere else on the car.

Then I apply one coat of PJ21s pure carnuba wax with my Porter Cable 7424 using a white pad. Let it cure for about 30 minutes or more, then remove with a few microfiber towels, again making sure they have nothing caught in there fibers that might scratch the paint, then finally use a finishing pad and go over the whole car with just that on the Porter Cable.

Wax the chrome lip of the wheels once everything is dry, as well as the exhaust tips. . . . and thats it for a normal weekend. Oh, theres the interior too, but I keep mine so clean all the time that I just wipe it down and vacuum the all weather mats, as well as dress them. All this take about 4 hours, start to finish, and I do it EVERY week.

dont get me started on the 2-3 time a year event haha. . .

NP man, yea it take some dedication for sure. I just tell myself "its just what you have to do if you want to keep this car looking like it came off the show room floor yesterday, and just do it, dont think about it, just do it."

Since day one that I picked up the car, no ones touched it other then myself and two professional detailers. Never been to a car wash before with it haha, or even let the dealer wash it.

haha this is the dedication body builders have lol...yea the first few months i had my car i washed it on my own, then the weather sucked and got lazy lolol..but with this new look im getting ill put my 100% heh
