Until someone offers replacement headlight lenses for the E92, I'll have to use the 3M kit. I did the headlights and fog lights and I'm pretty happy about the results. It was much easier to just replace the lenses on my E46 for $75. Sorry I didn't shoot the drivers side "before" shot.

John 070, I take no offense. The first is the before and the next two are after 500 grit, 800 grit, 1000 grit and 3000 grit wet sanding then polish and wax sealant. I'm sure that I'll notice quite a difference when I drive at night.

Installed the Whiteline 27mm front sway bar and I'm very happy with the results on my E90. The steering is much more responsive and the on-center steering is less numb. Even in city driving, the car feels more planted when changing lanes and turning. When pushed hard, there is significantly less body roll. Basically, this is how the car should've came from the factory. My only other suspension modifications so far are the Whiteline rear subframe inserts and deleted alignment pins for more camber.
For comparison, the stock bar on my E90 non-sport was 27mm with 24mm lever arms and a 23mm taper in the center. It is hollow and weighs 8 lbs. The Whiteline is 27mm throughout the entire bar, is solid and weighs 16 lbs. The Whiteline is very stealthy with its silver finish and black poly bushings. Installation is very simple. I used teflon tape in addition to the provided grease to help prevent squeaking. Interestingly, Whiteline uses a lithium based grease with moly while other brands use silicone or marine grease. cool...I think the sealant is key....my 335 is garaged so the lenses are crystal clear, but I worry that my wife's '11 will someday need to be polished...seems fine today. And I just bought an '06 used car, so maybe it's been done already....nice job!

California Car Duster-ed it after breakfast. Damned road spray yesterday from one freaking 3-lane wide puddle caused by leaky median irrigation. OCD in the hizzy!

I just had tint installed on my car. It is 15 all around and clear on the front for uv protection. I started the white led interior install tonight but i didn't realize there are so many lights to replace so have a few more on order.

The liner comes out very easy, but you'll need to remove the tire. The snaps holding the grill are much easier to access with the liner out. The only challenge is the duct venting air to the brakes. You'll need to pull the skid plate down from the middle of the bumper to reach up under the duct and access the screw holding it on. Also - be mindful, the passenger side oil cooler is a PITA to move out of the way. In retrospect - would have been easier to tape/mask off the grill and paint on the car. I used a flat black paint to try and match the center grill. |

I installed an Ultra Racing front strut brace recently. I chose this bar because it is a one piece design made of steel and it also clears the oil cap. The bar was only $85 on Amazon. Unfortunately it comes in white so I debadged the bar and Plasti Dipped it black.
With the bar installed, steering response and turn-in feels sharper and more connected. Feedback is also heightened and there is a sense of more control over what the front wheels are doing. The improvements are minor but for <$100, it's a decent mod. I would recommend a front sway bar first though. This is on an E90 with non-sport suspension (60k mi), deleted alignment pins for more camber, Whiteline 27mm front sway bar and Whiteline rear subframe inserts. Next modifications will be Monroe rear upper shock mounts and M3 rear subframe braces. |

Finally ordered some TintSaver! Once that comes in, install and get some darker tint on the AW E92!

Had some fun today. Flushed and bled the brake fluid on my car then gave it a nice wash and hand glazed it. First time I changed and bled the brakes on a car. Wasn't as bad or as messy as i thought it would be.
