Yeah I have mmp inlets (passenger side). I'll probably update to v7 soon but if I'm not happy, would I still have the option to flash back to 5.1?

Can someone take a look at this?

Is there a reason why I can't hit target boost? It's always been 1psi off since forever, even with different mods and tunes.

Now I'm running:
Roc Euro Intake
AD Eng 3" CP with HKS
AD Eng 7.5 IC
MHD Stage 1 93Octane(non intercooler map)
PE Exhaust

Here's some data from my test drive yesterday. I'll try to get some better data later today.

WOW, this thread fell to the second page... crazy

Anywho, let me know your thoughts - http://www.datazap.me/u/banana-clipp...1&zoom=138-195

I find it odd my stft are negative the entire log but AFR's look good but my wgdc's are crazy high. I'm fine with that since these only have 5 or 6k miles on them and theyre oem and I'll most likely upgrade in the next 3 months.

Have a 4 bar map sensor and went out to test it out. Car is cutting out really hard in the top end around 5200-6000. The first log for some reason the rpm goes to 0 which i find odd does anyone know what may cause this. Any help on what needs adjusting is appreciated

Appreciate anyone taking a look at this.
The time corrections on cylinder 4 have me a bit worried.
Not sure how serious the time corrections on cylinder 1/2 is during the 4th gear upshift, maybe coils or injectors?
Definitely need an upgrade intercooler which i look forward to getting soon.

Specs:
2013 e92 335is DCT 46000 miles
91 octane (California, thinking of mixing some 100 oct in to see if its just bad California gas)
MHD Stage 1 v7.1 (91 stock car)
Only has a drop in filter
Spark plugs replaced 3000 miles ago

Hey guys,

135i N54, running 98RON v7.1
Only mods are DCI and Chargepipe.

when WOT in first gear (Auto with Alpina flash) it kind of 'bogs down' around 4.5k-5k, this is with DSC pressed off (not the full 5 seconds), It might be due to the boost I guess, planning on limiting it to 10-11psi in first gear.

http://datazap.me/u/kson/135i-mhd-71?log=0&data=4-21

How does my log look? full 3rd gear WOT with DSC fully off, looks like it doesnt hit full boost, it seems to hit a max of 13psi. It's stage 1, no FMIC.

Overall it looks good, requested load is being met, AFR's are good, ignition timing is good.

Your low pressure fuel pump seems to be very erratic in the mid range though, oscillating by ~30 psi which I think is a bit more than the usual acceptable range.

Remember v7 maps use load target rather than boost target, your actual load vs requested load isn't far off so its not abnormal that boost varies from target.

The other channels look good. ~ 12 psi is about right for the Stg 1 file

AFR goes very lean as you get into boost ~16.0 at 2 psi and it looks as if you have wheelspin as rpm shoots up dis-proportionally and speed is more linear.

Strange thing is your fuel trims are between -5 and -12%, which is counter logic to a failing fuel system.
I did another pull at slightly lower Peak RPM after moving back to V6 MHD map and my LPFP numbers are all in the 60s-70s, not sure about error codes yet as I didnt cross into the 6K range but the v7 map and my car don't seem to like one another just yet. There was no wheel spin which makes me wonder if my torque converter was not doing its job. I cant recall if I turned off DTC or not but my car is xdrive. Need to do some longer pulls.

You have some timing correction, so either try moving down to the ACN map or as you state add some higher octane gas to see if that clears up the knock on your current map.

I add 10% alcohol blend to every tank on my stage 1 car, as our fuel is similar to your ACN 91 (maybe even a little worse). I've found that a 12% mix even allows me to run the 93/98 RON map.

You pasted shortened URLs that don't work. I found the first log though -- here's the link with the relevant parameters active: http://datazap.me/u/liteweight13/log...27&zoom=93-118

There's too much going on here for me to even begin to guess at the cause, but I can narrate what's going on so perhaps an actual expert here can. At 5700 RPM, your actual load crosses just past your requested load, your boost target jumps from 13.6 psi to 18.8 psi, your LPFP starts to tank, and you have a throttle intervention event. You recover and then when you get to the same RPM, the transmission shifts from second to neutral and then back again (that's why the RPM goes to zero).

I think I need to jump from my 93 map to 91. Or just get a new tank of gas, This tank is from 2 months ago.

Also should I upgrade my boost solenoids? I want to get as close to the target boost as possible.

Thanks for the response and sorry for late return - Got my hands on some LCI headlights so spend all night fitting them - NOW I GOT ANGEL EYES - So cool

Any thoughts on why low pressure pump is not okay? - Do sometimes get uneven pull when part throttle in the mid section.

5 year limp mode fixed

Been reading these threads trying to resolve a 30ff that has killed my track performance for years. Started with a Dinan Stage 3 but replaced with MHD when it came out. Replaced vanos, smoke tests were negative, and had walnut blasting done. 2007 with 60k miles. Still limped at the track.

Finally replaced solenoids and this appears to have fixed my 30ffs at the track. What a relief!

I've got a Dinan FMIC and oil cooler but no DPs but tried out the MHD 7.1 Stage 2 FMIC/DP tune. See my log - any reason not to run this at the track? Any issues you see with LPFP or timing corrections?

http://datazap.me/u/glenns/post-sole...29&mark=100-91

Thanks!
