up for 14 600; Volvo was literally worth a few hundred quid, big crease in the roof (bloody kids running on top of cars outside my surgery; will be parking this one somewhere else!), and needed new clutch, discs, flywheel........

Will get some pics up tomorrow!

There's a poll running here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191916 regarding the new wheels I'm getting. Be sure to add your vote, as I want a UK perspective too!!

Good to have you Nev;remember to post some pics up

Smile Car arrives wednesday 17/12/08

My first post on here, so just popping in to say "Hello".

I'm excitedly waiting for my 318d Edition M Sport saloon in Titanium Silver. It will be my 1st BMW, so looking forward to joining the "Propellor Club".

Biscuits is a good friend of mine, and has kindly offered to help me with the idrive system. Hopefully once I get used to the car I will be on here asking more questions from you experienced chaps!

Counting down the hours.....

Welcome Green and congratulations on your new car.

Doesn't matter if its 1 mile or 10 on the clock, it will no doubt have had a good thrash around before you get it.

Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find lots of info, and banter, on here to keep you interested for a long time to come hopefully!

Last time I drove a 318i ED car (efficient dynamics) I averaged around 33mpg in town, and about 43mpg on the motorway (over 400 miles of driving). I was being fairly gentle in town because the car was literally brand spanking new (just gone on fleet), although I did work it a bit harder on the motorways...

Thanks willhollin & E92Fan..its a company car so not worried much...I have taken this over Audi A3 1.9 which would give 60 mpg..I am sure performance and driving pleasure would be quite good...
