Test drove a 325i on the Autobahn while on a temporary assignment in July. Decided to take advantage of BMW Military Sales program and ordered a car on the spot, saving several thousand $'s. Thinking I wanted to keep it below an arbitrary price limit, here's what I started with:

-325i, Monaco Blue, Grey Leather, Burled Walnut, Manual Trans, iDrive/Nav Sys, Sport Pkg, Heated Seats, Xenon

After getting back to the states, test driving some more with the missus in tow, doing a lot of research, and deciding that I'll only live once, I finalized my order as follows:

-330i, Sp. Graphite, Black Leather, Burled Walnut, Manual Trans, Prem Pkg, Sport Pkg, Heated Seats, Sirius.

Scheduled to be built end of November, delivered to dealer in Germany mid-Dec, on the boat by early Jan, picking up in Charleston late Jan. The anticipation is like waiting for a child to be born.

I read somewhere on this site or bimmerfest that Comfort Access is standard for Canada (like the winter package)

Can anyone verify?

cold weather pkg is std for Canada 330
but not 10 speakers system I think

The cold weather package is standard for Canada. Comfort Access is not and in fact can only be ordered as a Sept. production (October delivery earliest).

PS on order a 325 ZSP Terra 5sp manual, jet black, tint delivery end of October (feels like end of the decade right now).

Chrissal - Thanks - Production week number? I have no idea. Mid October is what the dealer told me, he said its already in production. :-)

When I called the phone number on Monday for the first time it said "Your car is scheduled for production with no confirmed production date at this time" It still says on the website that it is On Order though.

Nocturnal - The dealer will be able to give you the week its scheduled for production. Right now, unfortunately, mine is week 39 (last week in September).

Placed an order on a 320i with dynamic and advantage package in late july.Car is scheduled for production 5 september and should be here in mid october.

Dynamic includes sport suspension,sport seats,sport steering wheel,17 inch wheels and painted door handles.Advantage includes fog lights,alarm,buttons on the steering wheel,and light package.

Yes, it's available for every model (from 318i to 330d), at least here.

Ordered my 325i last week, arrives late December. Got a great deal (nearly $AU9k off)...

When I bought the B6 A4, the equivalent E46 BMW was $AU15k more expensive, so I was originally going to get a B7 A4 2.0T Quattro this time around, but found the BMW much more competitive this time around (only $AU300 more expensive but with heaps more equipment, and new technology you just can't get on the A4). Add this to the superiour driving experience and it was a no brainer!

Now I just have to find out how to warp the space-time continuum so that I wake up tomorrow and it is Christmas, and my new baby has arrived, until then this forum keeps me from pacing the house
