Has anyone in Canada received theirs yet? Tracking shows it left the US a week and a half ago but still no sign of it...

For LCI e90, do you guys rotate the bulb in the same direction both ways? Like, for the passenger side + driver's side, do you rotate clockwise for both of them?
Oh yes, they are MUCH brighter then RD's and visible in the daylight. There are a lot of pictures showing these in the daytime.

We received 5 sets in today and all have been sold. Tracking info will be sent tomorrow to those customers. For those of you looking to purchase the LUX H8, we should have more around mid November. I'd suggest pre-ordering now due to the overwhelming demand for this product.

Any insight about this guys? Its great that they are flying off the shelves but i'm sure others would want to know if this could be a potential problem down the line.

Does it make a difference when the light switch is on auto or manual?

Thanks,
Alan

Anyone know about which way the bulbs are supposed to be rotated for the e90 335? Or it doesn't matter?

Just installed mine. The install is easy, just a little twisting around and you're all set.

THIS SHIT IS BRIGHT!!!!! The best AE solution! Price/quality/installation wise. Props Marc!

They are brighter than the RD's, in the pics below the RD's are on the passenger side and the LUX 8's are on the drivers side. When my car is out of the shadow, it is in direct sunlight. The RD's almost disappear, but the LUX are clearly visible. On the LCI you rotate the bulbs outboard, or away from the center of the car. You also don't have to cut off that plastic tab, but you still have to remove the wire holder. Later today I'll post vid on youtube showing the "flickering" when you unlock the doors, I'm off to work. thanks again Marc, great product.

Great comparison pics...I definitely like the whiter rings of the Lux as opposed to the bluer rings of the RD

Wow those pics are Huge - but they look awesome

Ya your right in that you do NOT need to cut off the plastic piece on the LCI's, i didnt know that at first.

I just installed my two days ago and i didn't cut anything either.. i did remove the wire holder and didn't mount it back on, does it need to go back on? i did run into a weird problem, one of the bulbs didn't light when i first plugged it in to test, i thought it was DOA. I tested the second one (same socket) which lit up, and switched back to the "DOA" to confirm my fear but surprisingly it worked and i haven't had a problem since.

The new design is definitely an easy DIY, great product, a lot brighter than the stock angel eyes.

Here is a video of the angel eyes flickering when they fade on and off when you lock/unlock the doors. Again the LUX 8's are on the driver's side and the RD's are on the passenger's side.

That sucks. Mine does not do that.... At least not yet. Does it do it even with the stock bulbs?

Just ordered mine today! Wish I didn't have to wait till November for them. So are they going to be shipped out to us on Nov. 15th?

Cheers,
James

This is very common for the RD's...it happened to mine if I was opening the car for the first time in the morning or going home from work. It doesn't happen if the car has been running for a while, must be something to do with the bulbs warming up.

I've had the LUX H8s for a couple weeks now....love em!

Here's some sample pics (the daytime pics are on an overcast day).

I've tried the AiBs (they burned out on me), GP Thunders, and RDs (liked them, but too blue for me and not as bright as I wanted).

These are by far the best!

sorry, but your question doesnt quite make sense.

With the LCI Headlights, you dont actually need to cut the plactic piece , you just need to remove the top wire holder.
