yeah.. seriously.. if something is a little bit expensive. they will just argue how they could made this cheaper but they did not..like AR pipes. once something cheap parts are on the market. they will just find a way to deny them,say they are cheap Chinese made. but they did not know 99% of what we American use was from China. even great quality product like AE , AR are made in china. our bmw DME unit which was supply by siemens was build in China. Chinese can build high quality stuff but will cost more for sure... and Who is to blame. Our American company outsource the job that was supposed to ours to China because they wanna lower the cost, but those Chinese has to a life to live too. If the company told them to make it cheaper, they will just have to find another to lower cost. lower some aspect of product for sure..this is just the way how it works.. and media is just being stupid about it... without Chinese's imports. i cannot think of what would happen .one day we walk into walmart everything was 10 times expensive, because we refuse to use Chinese product.I am pretty sure people would not be so happy about it.... come on what exactly are you asking for. .do not be a baby grow up. this is Corporate America .you know 400 dollar Top speed exhaust will fail for sure a year or two when you buy them. And you know when you pay retail for AE. they will last. This is the trade off. and OP was not even about price..he is trying to find out the long term durability..

If a company came up with a way to lower ur HP and made you pay money for it .... do they think they will sell a lot of units just because they are cheap....

That doesn't make sense.

I'm not putting these downpipes down because they are made in China. In fact I have quite a few aftermarket performance car parts manufactured in China.

What I am putting down is the terrible quality and poor design

Design and fabrication does look hacked but to some it just about being able to say they have upgraded DPs
