dont blame you for not reading it. So far this is what has happened:

One person got it on there 325xit and it works and he noticed more power, seems like it worked but power is a little lower than expected. This could be due to him having a all wheel drive automatic which would have fairly large drive train loses or it could be that it hasnt completely worked. so at the moment were looking for someone with a 325i manual thats willing to pay for everything and get it dyno tested before and after. at the same time creative is also looking for better deals so its not so expensive

and thats basically whats goin on

yes, but i beleive creative should be paying for at least half of the product, its worth the try, because if it works....they struck gold with ALL 325 owners (think about how succesfull Procede was with the 335 owners)

this is a gold mine watiing to be tapped into creative...
theres sooo many 325i owners that have dropped big money on exhaust/intake for a couple of horses... this is less then the latter combined, and a shit load more horses!

It's not the exhaust that makes them sound different. It's the intake manifold.

The 330i secondary pipe valve was installed to attenuate the louder exhaust tone.

The 325i and 330i with the same aftermarket exhaust systems still sound different.

More throaty, and a deeper pitch. Interestingly enough, the 325i gets louder than the 330i does with the Eisenmann Race exhaust muffler alone.

ks is right... After about 4000 rpm the 330's have a 'kick' (sort of lick Honda VTEC's) in pitch that the 325s lack.

ye but wat about the addition of the 3stageintakemanifold onto the 325 like ks was saying.
shudnt it give us a deeper sound commnig from the engine? that wud be another plus

finn did pretty much all we could ask of him, it just turns out that his specific car wasnt a prime example of what this mod can do because of it being and xi at. so if creative would just get a supply of intake manifolds that would solve most of our problems

I noticed you have a 328. Is there programming for the 328? you should be able to get 260 hp, same as the x3

argueably, you should be able to do the intake manifold and software change on a 328i to get the 265hp of the X3 3.0si or Z4 3.0si. Should be the same deal as the 325 --> 330 mod.

On my 2006 323i, you just need Euro software and nothing else because the Canadian ones came with the three stage intake out of the box.

im hoping that with a 328 i will be able to get the 260hp of the x3 3.0 and then hopefully around 10-15 more because of the chip and by then i should have an intake. so hopefully somewhere in the neighborhood of 270hp when its all said and done.

that is if creative ever does this

my goal since i got the car would be amazing handling and a 0-60 in the 5's so since it came with handling im hoping this will allow me to attain the rest of my goals
