Custom E30 tune, catless downpipe and a 30/70 mix of methanol on a 500cc jet. Stock paper air filter and intercooler. Still was having timing corrections and IAT's rising over 130F on the 30/70 mix. Next time I'll try 50/50. Moved out really well, almost into the 1.6's for the 60 foot.

Cheapo tires, they stuck fine. I tried to launch at 14 psi but that just caused wheel hop lol.

I ran a 12.7 @ 106. I'll attach slip.

So I hit the track yesterday and finally dipped into the 11's. I was able to get 4 runs in before having issues on the 5th run. The tune is just a little too aggressive for my liking which I think explains why my trap speed wasn't consistent. I would have added a little more E but I didn't have much time to test before the event. Boost was hitting 16 - 17 psi with aggressive timing targets. I wouldn't have expected to see the 120's running this little boost and only on E30 but it was a welcomed surprise.

Very nice! You should have plenty of headroom to run lots of timing at 17psi on E30. You usually get more power by running more boost and less timing though. 11's are solid, gratz!

Thanks man. Boost cannot go much higher without supplemental fueling so we were working with what we have. When I get methanol setup next year I would suspect boost will go up into the low 20's.

I’ve found these N55’s perform much better with more timing over more boost. 17psi with 10-11* of timing will outrun 20psi @ 6* of timing all day long.

Right now my timing is 11.5 down low and 15 up top.

I got my Pure Stage 2 turbo coming and Import Face Off drag racing event in January!
I cant wait to see what kind of numbers i put down. My fastest time so far is 13.398 @ 107mph... |
