First thing i'm doing is the CDV change on a 6MT. You have a sedan so I would go with rims, springs, body kit, blacklines, grille blackouts, angel eyes change, and then peformance. Chip, intake, exhaust, and maybe LSD.

how much money would all that cost? Shouldn't he have spent that on a 335i?

That's cool. I'm just always facinated by people that buy the 328i (or 325i last year), but then spend a bunch of money increasing performance. Increasing performance on a 335i I get.

Question for you on the CDV. Did you have a BMW prior to this one? Did you remove/change the CDV on it? I had an e46 330Ci, and did not. I did notice that there was a delay in engagment. I thought my 98 Prelude shifted more precisely.

Not planning to increase performance..manily thinking about looks and perhaps handlng even more...

Drive too many miles per year and want to keep cost somewhat low (depreciation, insurance and repairs beyond the 50,000 miles) ..thats why I am not going for the 335..even though thats an amazing engine.

No I didn't have a BMW before but my cousin has a 335i and did the CDV change and he said it is a must do. I drove it before and after and there is a hell of a difference. Only $35 bucks so I figure its a pretty cheap mod that is well worth having.

hey guys im on the freedom aswell but i just registered on here finally. I got a 335i coupe montego blue on the way i ordered 4/28...so im hoping to get delivery next friday.

CONGRATULATION, Enjoy! I have been out on the road myself for 24 hrs soon. As soon as I get back home I can not wait to get back out. The car is just amazing, and yes, the bluetooth integration works really well.

I just could not stand the wait anymore. Got up this morning went to my BMW dealership, traded in my Audi and told my CA that I was not leaving without a BMW. CA said it drives just like a 335i

heheh I did trade in my Audi today, I did get the X3, The CA let me borrow the X3 until my 335 comes in. Pretty cool of him since my 335 is not set to be here until the week of the 9th. At least I'm driving a BMW now

Sad to see my Audi go today. Funny thing is, I think they turned around and sold my Audi after I left! Amazing

Wow racer, what an awesome CA/dealership you have there... Definitely went out of the way to do that for you!! I was considering doing something like that if they had a bunch of loaners sitting on the lot, but I am not trading in anymore as I sold my little chum a few weeks back. I suppose that's the biggest reason why they'd let you borrow one - because of the money they're going to make from the turn-around sale on your trade-in.

It's not a new X3 is it?

and while I'm at it... Jim do you have some coords for us?

It's a 2006 X3 19K miles. X3 Actually rides pretty good.
He was originally not going to give me a loaner and let me contnue to drive my Audi for the next week, however after a brief conversation he finally beleived me when I said I was not leaving without a BMW today

Does not hurt that I dropped a load of cash there today. Probably the single most expensive day in my life! Did not hurt that my girlfriend looking pretty hot in the low cut top she had on today

jeez I hope she does not read this!
Great CA. Small dealership, I think they have all of 5 salespeople.

She out of range right now. This service only works when she really hugs the coast...you can see the out of range lines. I still have the site open, I'll post once she hops back in range.
