You guys must have a lot of time on your hands to sit around and spam the thread with complaints about something that isn't released based on wild speculation. I feel like I'm reading a Monty Python script.
This stuff is coming together amazingly, I can't wait for you guys to see what's coming. |

Jailbreak more appropriate possibly?
Anyway, say you can communicate/crack the trans. Now what? Honestly that's probably the easiest part for the right person with the right tools. But breaking down that code you squeeze out... shoot me now. It doesn't come out with signs that say "enter 0F here for better shifting". |

Keep up the good work guys and ignore these other fools. Open source flashing brings SO much to a platform! The EVO platform is a great example of this.

Thanks you What we all saw since the Evo/Suby tuning world went open source has largely been the motivator for this project. I hope we see a similar transformation in the N54 community (better tunes/understanding/accessability/etc,.) And thanks to some fortuitous collaborations with suppliers, beta testers and other tuners, we are on track for our July 4th announcement. Everything is coming along quite nicely. I hope you guys are happy with what you will see

In the documentation I've read for the N55, the thermostat is mapable. Meaning it opens at different temperatures given the conditions. I haven't been able to find the documentation I'd like for the N54, but if this were available, it could be fun for track guys. Of course...the N55 uses a Bosch ECU instead of the MSD80. They use it to maximize thermal efficiency gains during economical situations (cruising), and to control temperatures under hard driving, etc.
108C = Economy Mode 104C = Normal Mode 95C = High Mode 90C = High mode and control with characteristic map thermostat Also... Hopefully eventually we can extract the maps from the 1M as an alternative factory flash.
