A 2 carat ring will cost you over 15Gs...it depends on clarity & cut & color.
When the time comes, I would pick a round cut, 1.25 carat, D-F color with VVS1 range. With those terms, it will run me 10Gs.

No, my point is I dont need a 30K ring. As long as it looks nice. Im not trying to pretend I have some 30K ring. Im more concerned with how it looks on my finger and if my future husband cant afford something expensive, thats fine but small rings dont look right on my fingers so id rather get something bigger even if its not expensive without compromising the quality.

My wifes ring was 1.80 carats....with another 2 baguets totaling .80 on the sides. So the total weight was 2.60 carats but and it was a vs1 f color. I got it from a friend of mine in the city. He is a persian dude whose family has been in the diamond business for years. cost me $8K. If i went somewhere else it would of run me $14.5K. So he saved me a good amount of money. if anyone is ever interested his company is called REX. his mom has a wedding band that is 15carats. 15 rocks each certified and 1 carat each.

Be carefull with the cleaner wax...most have abrasives in them...you want either a liquid synthetic sealer or 100% pre carnuba wax.

I'd return the mothers stuff..and pick up a good wax....bring you car to a detailer when you need it clayed

Oh and that was in 2001 so from my understanding diamonds have appreciated 10% a year. unless Im totally off which i hope i am LOL
