Ordered plugs, socket, and torque wrench (dad's twisted bar torque wrench it's probably over thirty years old).
Not convinced will be much cheesier than letting BMW get on with it, but cheers for tips |

I did the same and will be changing my spark plugs over the weekend as well, just in time for a nice long road trip.

sorry this may be a dumb question....and may have been answered somewhere in the 199 pgs.....but does installing the AP on the car and switching between the various maps wipe out any coding that was done on the car? for example, i'm looking to get my windows and sunroof coded again to close withthe key fob...but since i change maps from time to time...just curious if the coding gets wiped out.

import.....I was curious about that myself, I work with steelrsfan and he was going to do some coding for me so we could A) be sure his rig could "speak' to early DME...B) see if I needed cobb at map 0 for him to code(he seems to think so)...and if coding would remain after flashing back to aggressive maps...so hopefully Ill be back in town next week and Ill know, if you don't have an answer by then...

Just got my car into limp mode while hitting 7k in 3d gear.
Errorcode P30FF Turned off the car and started again. No problem. I was running stg1+FMIC aggressive ST. Tried to do some datalogging, but i have no idea how to read it..

Has anyone else had issues with capturing 0-60 times with the updated firmware and beta maps? I can only record the 0-60 if I baby the car to 60 and a 20 sec 0-60 is not very impressive. When I get on it, it records no data.
Thanks,

you should clean the log so you get only 3rd gear..... the code means you have a boost leak. just search for it.

it looks like you're logging too many channels at once. keep it simple unless you specifically suspect is off.
log: RPM, boost, AFR(bank 1 or 2), timing(cylinder 1 is normally the quietest) and TPS actual. In order to get a somewhat accurate dyno be sure you are on level ground, no wheel spin and the vehicle weight/tire sizes are accurate |
