Well, it didn't technically sell; that's just how it is marked on their site since the car is going to auction. I was in contact with them early yesterday morning, and the car had been taken in on trade at another dealership in their group, so it hadn't arrived at BMW Gwinnett yet then. They were ready to take pictures and send them as soon as it arrived at their dealership yesterday afternoon, but once it got there the decision was made to send it to auction.

I didn't get into the specifics of why, but one can imagine a range of issues with a 160k+ E91.

I suppose it will be showing up at some point soon at a Manheim auction in the Atlanta area.

Do it quick and strike while the iron is white hot! I don't know if I'd bother with the Trueframe stuff since you have detailed pictures and insider look at the car when it was converted. Just post them all and get that thing on BaT as fast as possible, lol. It will likely blow well past any offer you currently have (i.e. $40k) from interested parties.

I have the VIN for this one and will be searching Manheim for when it goes through. I am sure most of you are aware I am a small dealer in PA but I look for BMW wagons more as a side hobby. I will gladly find this car if it hits Manheim's auctions and bid/win it for you.

Edit: The car seems well spec'd too. RWD, 6MT, comfort access, sport package, xenons, black/black

This is the carfax. The report looks very good IMO with 15 documented oil changes and multiple entries from BMW dealers. Plus it was a CPO vehicle.

He asked me if I wanted pictures, and I told him not to bother. He went on to say that they mark all cars sold when the send them to auction. Whether any/all of this is true or not, I have no clue. I do know they marked the price down yesterday mid-day to ~$8900 from their morning asking price of $9988 before they received the car at the dealership. The salesman was pretty straightforward that it was sent to auction, but I could be missing a tell, who knows.

I know! We're outgrowing our house and a side business that needs cash injection ASAP because of Covid. I'm not in financial peril but the funds could have serious impact on my life.

I also was trying to grab this one too. I'm about 20 min away and couldn't believe one came available so close. No plane ticket required!! I called Monday morning at 10 am and was told $9,941. I asked if it was ready to show and the guy said no, not yet. I said I'd come back today, Tuesday, Nov 3. He called me around 11 am and said it was sold.

I have a lead on a pre LCI 2008 E91 Xi, 6MT, Monaco Blue/Beige with 88k miles. Pretty base car; no sport or xenon headlights. Only option I see worthwhile is rear parking sensors. I will keep updated if I am able to snag it today.

That tree hit damage on the d-pillar probably totaled the car if an insurance claim was processed.

I can only assume I wasn't told the truth about the car at this point as the guy at BMW of Gwinnett has ceased responding to my communication. It probably sold and isn't going to auction.

Car has a clean title but will see how bad the damage is and take better pics. He is the 4th owner but is unfortunately east coast car. Car lived most of its life in Massachusetts and New Hampshire so will look for rust as well
