E91s For Sale

Hey Everyone! Wanted to give a quick update. I looked over the car and jacked it to check for rust. Definitely has surface rust on the bottom but not horrific. Oil pan is leaking for sure and body of the car is pretty beat. I'm going to attach some pictures I took of the overall condition. The interior is like new though and is in very good shape.

Oh wow... That seller certainly didn't do anything to show how bad the car really is. If he rates that as a B- then I would hate to see a car he rates as a D..probably smashed into a tree at 60mph haha. Hard pass from me.

I would take it for 6 though! Could get that out of my current '09 auto.

Yeah seller was super nice but didn't want to admit how bad a shape its in. He apparently paid 11k for it sight unseen 1 year ago. He re-did the whole suspension and had an invoice for $2400. Apparently if he doesnt sell by Friday he will be donating it to a charity who will auction it off.

Canada alert!

Here's an auto RWD with sport package. Looks like it was imported from the US based on speedo (canadian pre-LCI cars do not have MPH).

High Km and exterior colour, and auto make this a pass for me. If it were blue or green I could look past the high KM and auto.

And check the right head light. The lens is pointing down, I believe that will require a new assembly which is pricey.

I'd leave the aesthetics alone and rock it as a winter beater for half the price. It'll require pretty much a full respray if you fix the body damage and bumpers, you'll end up blending 75% of the car to get it right. It's not a $10,5k car as it sits.

A good PDR tech could probably get those dents looking pretty good. Good enough for a winter beater for sure.

I spoke with the dealer this AM and was told price is $11.5k. Car was a trade-in and still needs to go through their inspection process to determine actual condition. Sales rep I spoke to, same one who handled the trade-in, said there were already 4 other calls by 10am PT. So I expect if it's not already sold it will be asap.
