Yes, this looks very promising, but your DATEN Link text file has a link to a Mega.nz directory in which I do not see the E90 data files.
Since you have a '09 335i, similar to my '08 335xi, what am I missing? (Or do I need better glasses?)

Aha, I was just about to try that. Thank you for the confirmation.
I will continue installing your "ready to use" files on my Win7 machine then. Is this true in INPA too? Selecting E90, I get very little info out of INPA - driver's seat, the transmission, Dynamic Stability Control DSC, and just a few others. Not even the passenger seat. I have two '08 335xi and this is true for both. My E90.ENG file shows version 1.32. This is on my 32-bit XP machine. Should I see more? Perhaps change inpa.ini to allow selecting a E89?

wildcatcrazy Thank you for this.
You should accept paypal donations for this great write-up. I'd also love to see a write-up on updating each module within our E9x's and what each update does/benfits. Cheers. P.S. if you ever decide to take paypal donations please advise.

After trying on and off over the past year with cables and software from various ebay vendors, this is the first time I got both INPA and NCSExpert to run on my Win7 laptop. (I previously got INPA to run on my XP laptop.) FYI - The ebay cables were flaky. The $40 cable from bimmer software ************** works perfectly. Plugged it in and Win7 was able to find the drivers on its own. Be happy to send you $25 via Paypal and I suspect many other recognizing what you have greatly simplified will too. My only suggestion is to include the recent DATEN files in your directory images. The e89.rar file is a monster 4GB download, which then expands to 11GB, but it appears only about 300MB actually get copied to the various data directories. Thanks again.

I can't include the DATENs in the same download because they are constantly changing, so the next best thing is to provide the active link in my download files. |

Just want to confirm a couple things here. Will this work on a Parralles VM of Win 7 and will this allow for the Alpina TCU flash?
I already have BMWhat so I ONLY want the TCU flash. All other DIY's have failed me. |

Honestly at this point, with all the fails and near triumphs I've had I'll do whatever it takes to get the TCU flash done. I'm already on JB4 and running E85 and it gets better? I'm hooked, was up till 2am last night trying and failing but OH SO CLOSE with each and every try. My wife says I'm "cracked out on the car". I would also like to learn how to do the JB4 BB pump flash if thats possible with this software set as well but I'm new to BMW and havent even had the car a month so I'm sure something I just said was wrong. I agree with the others, even if just for 'donations' you should allow for users to PayPal you as a sign of appreciation unless you're fine with a good 'ol fashioned 'Thank You' Last edited by Banana Clipper; 01-06-2016 at 09:17 PM.. One final question and please forgive me if this is a 'dumb' question, but, when I perform the TCU flash am I ok to use the Daten files you've provided or should I use the 53.0 supplied in the tutorial?

No luck with the TCU flash my dude. I press 'Program' and get this: Any advise or you think its the cable? I even tried loading the 53.0 files as per the instructions in the Aplina DiY thread and get the same thing. Just wasnt meant for me...lol |
