It's just a wax, but a damn good one and smells terrific (like chocolate). It seems to have some filling attributes as well.

You could use PO85rd on a 3 inch black or blue pad at a very low speed on a power drill. This is what I was planning on doing in a few weeks. I would advise to triple tape any plastic/vinyl trim to keep it from getting chewed up by the drill. PO85rd dusts very little and is superfine but I would still suggest covering any vents with tape as well.

If you do this before the rest of your interior detail, you'll be able to clean up any addition dust. I would also suggest sealing the wood with Opti-Seal and then following up with the Swissvax wood wax. Leave the tape on the vinyl trim (dash etc...) until you remove the wood wax. Removing wax from that dashboard texture is a PAIN.

I tried doing this by hand and it ends up being a giant waste of time, as well as a calorie burner...which may not be a bad thing.

Wood Trim

The wood trim in most vehicles (some BMW, Lexus and Mercedes Benz use real wood) which is protected with a urethane clear coat, polyurethane or a thin lacquer, which is very easily scratched.

• Clean with a chemical cleaner (Klasse All-In-One or Zaino Z-AIO) and then buff with a clean micro fibre towel
• Maintenance- use an anti-static plastic cleaner (Iz einszett Cockpit Premium, which includes UV protection)
• Remove scratches with a fine polish (QUIXX Repair System or 3M Plastic Polish and Cleaner)

Should be fine, same principles apply. The clear is likely much, much thicker on trim compared to a car's paint.
