Recently changed pads all way round and replaced rotors. Was definitely not necessary at the time. Before the work the system was showing something like 9,000 miles left. I re-used the sensors and reset the system. Now showing needing service in 42k and 48k miles front and rear respectively. This is what I wanted to see but from this thread I'm surprised it worked out.

I read that as long as you don't trigger I think stage 2 you're good to re-use them.

But anyways it's only 10$ a sensor I don't see why people are so frugal about it

Altough in your case if I wouldn't trigger stage 2 I would reuse them as well.

Aha. There was lot of pad remaining I just wanted to try out Akebono's. I changed the rotors because one got some debris and it dug a small groove in it.
