Hi Guys, Just bought a X5 for my other half it has a snapped timing chain (it had a flat battery). Price was OK, need to fix, not asking for any freebies just a quick question, is the BMW ISTA D software really 99gb? My laptop only has a 60GB storage lol.
I also own a e92 330d which I absolutely love done over 30,000miles in the last 18months.
I've only joined today (I have read the above posts so please be gentle)

You need to have over 50 posts, which is part of proving you're an active member of the forum rather than just a freeloader.

It's 99gb, but that's because it includes the full psdzdata for programming the car via ISTA. If you're not programing the car, the actual final install size is significantly smaller. psdzdata full is often times 100+ gb.

not bad rules, but most of the communication nowadays is in facebook, forums are old school, but the idea on the forum is to help each other...i think some donation plan for acces to download link is better but the rules are rules....and we should follow them...
