Sounds very nice, not very loud and they are as they are supposed to be imho.
Btw, what rims do you have? Are they 17 or 18"?

Thanks!

The rims are Sparco Pro Corsa's 17's in matte black (they call it Matte Dark Titanium). I'm on H&R sport springs with 15mm spacers in the back.

Used the universal MHD WIFI adapter, took about 11 minutes total. Was super nervous I was gonna brick something, but just followed directions and everything went smooth.

Besides all fresh fluids / regular maintenance, I installed the VRSF chargepipe and the crank seal guard before even thinking about tuning.

Car feels/sounds awesome. Sorry no dynos or hp numbers, but as far as if it's worth it, I would definitely say yes. The cost was low and the results are noticeable.
Can you post up a log of your stage 1 please?

I'm stock at the moment and also 6mt and want to compare. Mainly interested if you gives you all the boost in any gear because currently the ECU gives more boost in each gear

This is mine stock https://datazap.me/u/lemansn55/pull-...=0&data=4-9-20

Here's a log from some city driving yesterday on the way home from picking up sushi across town.

First time using datazap so sorry if the format is bad! I can do a more focused log tomorrow if you want me to do certain types of pulls or whatever.

Try and make sure that you've selected all of the channels to log, then there's more things to compare such as waste gate duty cycle, temperatures, VANOS, boost etc.

Most people tend to record a single pull going WOT from 2000rpm in 3rd until 6000rpm+

Alright, I'll turn on all the channels and do a nice pull here in a bit! I don't know if I've ever push it close to 6000rpm, gonna be fun!

I'm using Torque Pro for logging and it doesn't look like there are channels for Waste gate duty cycle, or Vanos.

And there are a ton of channels that stay blank the whole time, but I'll just turn them all on and go do a pull and post it.

blackwood haha enjoy the feeling of 6k!

I assumed you were using MHD for logging so that's my bad. Can never have too much data

Stay safe when doing the pulls!

The only other thing I forgot to mention is that for the cleanest data you should turn Traction/DSC fully off to stop any ECU interference from skewing the data with interventions to limit wheel spin. Do whatever you're comfortable with

blackwood MHD datalogging is extremely good for diagnosing certain problems, for example boost leaks, fueling problems, timing corrections so you can see if your fuel/spark plugs/ ignition coils are up to spec etc.

Ah dang, I should have got the super license then. I like using Torque because I can use the gauges with android auto on my idrive screen, didn't realize MHD logging would have more parameters.

Climbing up to 6k felt nuts!! I definitely had traction/DSC on though so sorry if that messes it up, I've never turned it off before!

Here's the log from just now. https://datazap.me/u/blackwood/3rd-g...=0&data=75-193

Also with MHD you can do the same thing, if you want. The nice thing with MHD Logging is that you can see exactly if the tune is appropiate for your car, you can see what boost the car asks for vs what is actually being provided. But if you get along with Torque and you got used to it and you like it, that is what matters.

MHD app doesn't show up in my Android Auto apps so I'll have to figure out how to make that work.

I use my phone for MHD - not sure if it works through Android Auto or not.

It only needs wifi so you should be able to avoid your phone connecting properly just leaving bluetooth off

Just installed an ebay G-Plus intercooler that I got for $170.

Originally I was deciding between VRSF and a MAD intercooler from X-ph.com, but after VRSF dicked me over and is still ghosting me after almost 2 months, I don't trust any of these online parts shops. FCPEURO is tight, they have amazing customer service, I will continue to buy parts from them, but I lost all trust in these other stores because of VRSF. I don't have the money to just guess which parts store is going to be honorable.

So anyway, I decided to try my luck with ebay, and I am happy I did.

This thing came packaged beautifully, included all necessary hardware, and fit like a dream.

No frustrating tight squeezes or taking breaks to muster up the most strength you've got to get things connected. This baby fit just like OEM.

Did a little driving just to make sure nothing was going to pop off and got a little log (it was like 90 degrees out). I stuck a log from the other day at the beginning, and put the new log at the end, so you see 2 driving sessions there, left side stock, right side G Plus, I'll get some better logs soon!

https://datazap.me/u/blackwood/log-1...g=0&data=0-1-2

But first, time to flash it to Stage 1+

I really think you should log via the MHD Logging, so you can really see the benefits. Torque doesn’t show such good data unfortunately

lol do you work for MHD or something? jk

There doesn't seem to be $85 worth of extra parameters to me. It looks like the only things MHD can monitor but Torque Pro can't (yet) is Vanos, WGDC, and Trans temp (I still might be able to find the PID's and add them to Torque Pro).

I just have everything I like to monitor setup in Torque Pro and I can see the gauges next to my maps on my CIC via Android Auto. If there is some big thing I'm missing I guess I might be down to spend the $85 for the monitoring license and have to use some secondary device to show MHD gauges, but right now it just doesn't seem worth it.

Haha, nono. I am just aware that MHD or also other options have more features. Sorry if it came like that, really. As I said previously, you should use whatever is easier for you and you feel comfortable.

The biggest difference for example is yes, the WGDC which would show you at what capacity your turbo is working, which is very important. Also, another one that is extremely important is the timing correction part. There you can see if your setup/your fuel can handle the map and not easily destroy the engine. Another one would be the boost target/ boost actual. You can see what the ECU is asking boost wise versus what the car actually makes, which could indicate a boost leak in case the difference is really big.
For me for example, on stock map the logs were looking very good. Once I went 1 and then after 1+ I saw some problems based on the data that I saw in the log and fixed them, and now I can really feel
The difference between stock and Stage 1+. It might be that you are leaving power on the table just based that you might have a small boost leak, bad fuel, etc

Right on. Well I found WGDC and boost target / boost actual in Bimmerlink which I also have and Torque monitors timing correction so I think I actually have it all covered!

Here's what you can log with MHD. You can also add parameters to log if you know their address. For example, I've added oil level ($ozniv) so I can monitor oil level in real-time, and see the level shift during driving as it slashes around in the oil pan breaking, cornering, etc.

wheela , how did you add the oil level? I only see an option with Import and it prompts me to select a file. Should I make a .txt into which I write the $ozniv and select the document?
