1clean335i, what kind of gauges are you using? From what vendor did you purchase the gauges?
Thanks.

I think its Exhaust temp. He'll have to confirm that though. I've never heard of JC. I've always loved Blitz and Defi personally.

yep.
If STRI made a smaller one then I would get that for sure. This way it could be put in more areas.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107134 I'm not a fan of the digital gauge but everybody has their favorites. To me there's nothing like watching the needle rev up during boost.

I saw that.. i just don't want to put a boost gauge up onto my dash board. I too would much rather have a defi gauge like that over a digital gauge... it just seems like this tiny digital gauge will make for a much cleaner install.

The boost gauge is an Autometer sport comp II gauge. I got it from jegs.com. The air/fuel gauge is a no name brand. Its currently there to fill the hole until i get downpipes so I can wire up the wideband. I made the set-up from scratch using the sunglass holder

In my wrx I had it mounted on my steering column* (it didn't block the view of the RPM's as much as it appears in this pic):
* ya i know this isn't necessarily "clean", but I would do it right with the bmw.. |

That looks pretty good. And, even if you did block some of the RPMs, it's not like you would be driving above 7k rpms anyway. Good location!
