xhp offers a "hybrid" option for the stage 3 tune.

stage 1 for D mode (comfort)

stage 3 for S/M (race)

if you paid for the stage 3 tune, but you do not see the hybrid file then go to the Misc Menu (top left), hit “Re-Download OTS Maps”.

this will refresh the maps and there should be four stage 3 tunes to choose from..

Given the subforum you're currently on, that's a distinct possibility.

Providing Xhp does not screw up the boot loader, you can always re-flash back to stock using Winfkp. If you wanted to.

Not possible.

How are you trying to reflash and what is the error?

I'd be very surprised if you could not push in a new program and calibration file using winfkp in expert mode.

I don't want a performance map for drive mode I would really like to change the MPH and lightly tweak other areas in the map.. the stage 3 hybrid (1.1) just doesn't have the shift points I need for my daily driving style. I want to make my own D map (from stock) and have the two intertwined if possible without having to pay for $250 for "custom" mapping when all I want mainly is the MPH in and out changed for 6th gear.... im looking for in at 43mph and out at 37 or so I know rpm's will play a roll at 37...

is there an easy way to explain without the science

numbers up in this area are faster shifts
------------- in this are firmer clutch engagement
------------- in this area different MPH

im using tuner pro and I know that it is in the other thread, but im not on par with them im about 7 steps behind.... I just want simple for making small changes not looking for max
37 mph in 6th gear???? Is that even possible?????

Shouldnt that be in 2nd or 3rd???? Heck you could hit that in 1st afaik

6th gear is for 100+ mph mainly...

this is not sports mode this is normal drive mode. when I am not on the freeway I am always in the 40-50mph range and I want the car to stay in 6th not shift in and out of 5th and 6th..

in normal drive mode it shifts into 6th at 43 and holds it until 37.. the car is still as smooth as it was before.
