I've stayed at the Venetian and Palazzo and it's a nice suite hotel. Also I've heard great things about THE hotel at Mandalay Bay

I LIK EPLANET HOLLYWOOD, sure there are better rooms out there, but im in it for the atmosphere, price and location. hands down ph meets my crriteria. its a party atmosphere, young 20-30 yr old crowd, and i i like the shops at that mall. right across the street is the bellagio and city center and ceasars

I dont think venetian is very central, if you consider Mandalay at the southern end.
Wynn/Encore is across the street from Ventian and Palazzo, they are both Far from the center. Venetian and Palazzo has the largest room for the buck for a top teir hotel. - they also have the most generous Player tiers The Hotel and Mandalay is very nice, but its VERY far from everything except Luxor and MGM grand. fk. i frequent vegas a little more than once a month |

Thanks for the input everyone; I ended up going with the Venetian! I'm pretty pumped about this as the total vegas trip cost so far with roundtrip flights is $0.00. Southwest rapid rewards and hotels.com ftw!

I just got back from Vegas yesterday and I stayed at the Mirage. I really enjoyed my stay there, It was very nice and clean and the couple of clubs they got there, "Jet" and "Revolution", were packed every single night. I believe it was pretty central too. Caesars, Venetian, TI, Wynn, Harrahs were all around us. The venetian and the palazzo were also really nice.

as a hotel guest you can go to the concierge and put yourself on their free guest list for TAO and LAVO (their clubs). it's free until 12AM. you should still plan to arrive early since that line gets insane but not as crazy as the general line. if you want to pregame in your room instead of spending $15 a drink inside the clubs, there is a store directly across from TAO. they had specials on bottles of liquor when i was there. ~$100-$110 for 2 bottles. it's more expensive than your normal grocery store but heck of a lot cheaper than inside the club.

Stayed at the Encore this past summer and the room and service were very nice. Paid about 250 a night and well worth it, great room service and the gym was also very nice. Pallazo was next door and also seemed very nice.

I always get free rooms at the Harrah's owned casinos so those are the only ones I stay at.
Caesar's Palace - 1 Paris - 2 Flamingo - 3 Bally's - 4 Imperial Palce - HELL NO. Never stayed at any of the others, spent the most time at Flamingo's, not really great for an anniversary or anything, but I go to Vegas to gamble only. I like the Paris, probably even more-so than Caesar's, it's a toss up. |

If you want to experience unparallel levels of service and superb offerings, you would want to stay at the Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay (Maybe a little expensive but worth it). FYI, the Four Seasons is one of the few 5 star companies that actually clean all of their bed sheets, Duvet and blankets. You can also use Mandalay's pool if you wish as well.
