I joined June 2010 ...

Initially E92 320d then E92 330d ... 3 x Z4's ... and now an A45 AMG so I have downsized

I look here every now and then ... but spend most time on the A45 forum - nowhere near as active as this one though !

Done pretty much a full circle. Joined with a E90 330i, had a E90 M3 inbetween and now back with a E92 LCI 325i

I became a member in early 2006, but the E90 was the last in a run of BMW's I owned.

Due to a multitude of reasons, the car got sold in the Summer of '06, and that was my last BM until this year, when I returned to the fold.

So I have been a member for over 10 1/2 years, but for 10 of those, the account was inactive!

Last time i saw him was on babybmw. He'd joined the many M135i owners and was just as touchy as ever. I'm pretty sure he left in a "good day sir" type of way then reappeared with a new username only to be spotted instantly resulting in him storming off again.

I stop in once in a while. I moved back to the states (Colorado) in 2010 and just relocated to Virginia a month ago. Still have the '09 E90. Took it on Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee a couple of years ago. That road has 318 turns in eleven miles in the mountains.

Good to see some of the old gang still hanging out here.

Still look in every 3 months.

Had a GTR since I got rid of the 335d 2 years ago and have a Great deal on a leased polo GTI as a runaround.

The great thing about the GTR is that the depreciation is next to nothing. Knowing what I know now I would never plough 55k into a beemer but wouldn't think twice about it on a GTR although I don't use the GTR that much.

I sold the old 335d, moved countries (nay continents) and currently drive a ridiculously quick CLA45 AMG with stage 2 here in the land of Oz.

The 335d (along with family and mates) is the only thing I miss from home. I loved that car and still miss that torque. Never been back in over 4 years and it still feels like my 335d is sat in the airport carpark waiting for me to return
