So I replaced my Intake Manifold TMAP (with stock) and my CP TMAP (with N20). Reflashed my MHD tune with N20 option checked. Reset lambda and fuel/air adaptions. So far so good.

Couple of observations/questions:

Boost Mean PSI used to stay at 0.0 during idle. With n20 it is at 0.4. Seems weird as I am pretty sure CP is at vacuum at idle. Makes me suspicious of the N20, but it may be the old sensor was worn out (probably - 116k) or this is the new normal.

IAT (which I think is same sensor, correct?) seems to run a higher delta (by about 5F) than the stock sensor, although it has been pretty warm in the Seattle area this week so this observation may be erroneous.

Any thoughts on the PSI or IAT observations? Car throws no codes and seems to run fine. Only observable difference is that on cold start this AM, idle seemed to hunt from 800-1000rpm for about 5 seconds before settling out. Doesn't happen on a warm start and didn't happen with the old sensor. I'll see what happens in the morning. I suspect it is just the car figuring out the new adaptions with the new sensors.

What better the 3.5 bat or the 4bar map sensor?

I'll try that soon.

FYI on the BMS 4bar. 0.40v - 4.65v is for JB4 guys. 0.50v - 4.65 (Max voltage 4.65v) is for flash only tuned guys

MHD Tuning and myself have verified this on an external boost gauge on a dynojet

MHD hasn't pushed out yet the verified settings for the 4bar. So selecting the 4bar option support while doing a force write the error may come back.

If your map is a custom tune and not a OTS map get with Ken to include the 4bar map support in the map itself. 0.50v - 4.65v with a Max Voltage of 4.65v. You will do a force write with MHD with this updated map without selecting the MHD 4bar support option.

If you don't know how to do a force write, PM me

looks like JB4 is having the same problem. From Terry...."1) Patched out 2ABD faults for those running the 4BAR TMAP sensor on ije0s or i8a0s. Looks like fix did not work. Patching out 2ABD can result in AFR going super lean at low boost. Working on the fix for 4bar sensors."

Ill figure it out. So far no issue on INA0S. I have a very strong idea of the culprit table that has been misnomered

let me know how your update turns out though

Yeah, I'm using the map with the checkbox. Sometimes I get the 2ABD fault fault and sometimes I don't.

I'm IJE0S.

They posted a JB4 firmware fix for it today.

Shoot me an email with your VIN, mods and fuel, I can send you demo map and see if it comes up again. So far I figured out I8A0S and INA0S.

I think it's sorted; hasn't appeared the last four or five days except once since I forced a full write.

So the consensus is get the 4bar sensor. Noted, will do that this weekend.

From what I read in this thread, the 3.5bar sensor is better if it covers your boost range. 4.65-0.4=4.25v range to cover 3.5bar vs 4.5-0.5=4.0v range to cover 4.0 bar.

Does the 4.0bar sensor plug in without the adapter harness or something?

No, you still need the adapter. BMS sells the 4 bar sensor with the adapter, as opposed to just selling the adapter for the 3.5 bar sensor, requiring you to get the sensor elsewhere. I'm looking into this myself, and getting the 4 bar/ adapter from BMS would appear to be cheaper than even an eBay 3.5 bar sensor and the BMS adapter. There may be some mounting bolt idiosyncrasies depending on the charge pipe, though.

To confirm, the 3.5 bar sensor fits all CP's without worrying about bolt size correct?
