I'm sure there are, but I didn't ask for the specific breakdown. I had a number that I was willing to give for it, and they got down to that number. I'll ask on Saturday when I pick it up and let you know.

What you are seeing must all be convertibles. 62 would be maxing out all the options on a coupe.

Coupe msrp starts at 52800. Convertible msrp starts at 60800.

So, the low msrp's that the people are mentioning here are coupes. The 65k+ ones are convertibles with options.

Good point. That's probably it. I'm looking for only a convertible.

I got my 2012 335is this march and got $4500 off fully loaded. You will love it, because I did. I wont beat your Z06 on track, but will definitely give you more thrills driving around town. Most people say the DCT 335is just like a tuned 335i, but once you get behind the wheel of a 335is, you will beg to differ.

Trying to see if this is a good deal:

2013 335i M-Sport convertible Black/Cream Nav/comfort/premium pretty much loaded with everything.

MSRP 63895 Reduced to 60540
reduced an additional 750 plus 1500 holiday cash, 740 loyalty, 300 BMW smartphone app

Final Price $57245
Residual $39614

Monthly $675.44 with 10K miles(trying to get a quote on 12K) for 39 months.

I'm getting dinged on my trade(2008 328i convertible) but plan to put some cash with it to offset the trade hit I'm going to take.

What do you guys think?

Eh, not a great deal. What's the invoice price for this car? Use that as your starting point. I wouldn't offer more than $500 above invoice, BEFORE any loyalty/cash offers/incentives. I'd also recommend you put the cash down towards maximum of 7 securities deposits to reduce your Money Factor by quite a bit, rather than to reduce your cap cost. Price out your monthly payment with 1 security deposit versus 7, and you'll notice that you save over $100/month in your payments!

Thanks man,
I'm not sure what the invoice price is, but when I was doing the math it seems like it didn't quite add up. They haven't run my credit yet so nothing is concrete.

Question for you leasing pros? How negotiable is the residual or is it a number that cannot be negotiated? I know that the biggest key is to get the purchase price as low as possible but what about the residual?

Non-negotiable. The only way you can change the residual is by changing the lease term (24 versus 36 months) or mileage (10K/year, 12K/year, etc).

The same goes for the Money Factor - also non-negotiable, but can be changed with multiple security deposits.

Residual is a percentage that BMW FS sets. They send out a big chart to dealerships every month so they can put you into the correct residual according to your terms (24/36/39/48 months), annual mileage (10k/12k/15k), model (328,335,m3, etc). While MSRP can definitely be negotiated, residual is something that your dealership won't be able to adjust.

Consider it like the cell phone plan that carriers offer, and the MSRP the price of the phone (which vary by different shops)

Drives: 2013 BMW 335is Coupe

Hi Everyone! This is my first time on this website and have a question? Where do I go to ask these questions regarding a 2013 BMW 335is Coupe? I have previously leased a new 2007 328i Sedan and now curently drive a 335i Coupe. I am now considering to build a 2013 335is Coupe and would like to find answers to a couple questions?

1) Why does BMW require the BMW Assist Package when you buy the Premium Sound Package? I plan on getting the HK sound system but don't understand that in order to get that, you have to get the Assist along with it which means additional cost.
2) What is the primary function of the top "hazy" section that runs along the top of the front xenon headlights? I do like the look.
3) Why are the front headlights still round in shape on the 2013 is coupe model but the other models like the sedan and convertible are now sporting the newer squarer shape which I was told is suppose to give the cars a more aggresive look.
4) If I don't get the Premium Package, can you still dim the lights in the interior and exterior mirrors? Also, without the "PP", can the exterior mirrors still be automatically folded in? I've had my two previous models loaded with options but this time around since I am starting a small business, I need to reduce cost.I have still added the 19" performance tires/rims, 7 speed DC transmission, black sapphire paint, premium sound and comfort access. Any advice on which forum I might be able to get answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated!
